I totally agree that Leia’s first display of the Force was mishandled. Still, too many people thought she was flying and couldn’t understand that she pulled herself to the ship. Similar to Luke pulling himself into the tube to escape after having his hand cut off and jumping in Cloud City Ep. 5.
People can obviously watch the movies in whichever way they want to. Star Wars fans have all kinds of time to discuss "how-about" and "what-if"? So us old fans never had a chance to choose the order of how to watch the movies and we had no spoilers, where today's viewers DO have all the pieces of the puzzle and possibly having some plot points spoiled. I'm glad you both enjoy the sequel trilogy. It is always nice to have a new fans join the Star Wars family. Unfortunately for many Star Wars fans, these films aren't loved by the fandom for many reasons. You my not agree with why the aren't liked but maybe take the time and actually find out why people aren't huge fans of these movies. Sorry people are wrong for not liking the movies is a bit unfair.
They're not loved by the fandom? You seem very sure about that. Who are "the fandom", and have you met everyone in it? Why should Suzy and Steejo take the time to find out why someone else doesn't like what they like? They read the comments. Why go the extra mile? Is it useful, somehow? Would that help them? Or is it just to ruin their fun? And, what makes those people's opinions superior?
It would be nice if these so-called "Star Wars fans" actually did the opposite... and took the time to find out why people ... like the movies. They're sitting screaming in the corner about a couple of lore things meanwhile the rest of the world, and new generations of fans, absolutely loved the movies and it's ridiculous to try to push people to hear a minority's relatively meaningless objections.
1:02:09 we encounter worse sea states in the Navy! One time on the submarine we had to be on the surface in the middle of a typhoon because we were doing [redacted], and the boat was thrown around like a ragdoll! The Officer of the Deck said he could not see the top of the waves through the periscope. But we have a major advantage: we can just go underwater. Once we were done doing what we were doing, we went down to 300 feet (100 m) and there was just the slightest roll of the sea. Then we descended to 600 feet (200 m) and the sea was completely still. But, unknown if the sea is 600 feet deep where Rey is. If it was, she would have a much more pleasant trip underwater 🙂
I enjoyed watching your reaction. Some of the purists don’t like the movies, I’d love to see their interpretations of a script. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I watch them as separate movies not as a continuation. What’s next Suzy?
@@xDarthSTYXx I get what you mean with the Clone Wars movie being just the first few episodes put into one but I like to see it still as a movie because then we have a "trilogy" of spinoffs films.
@@hater2764 Boo hoo, too bad so sad for you, I personally don't like the sequel but they a still Star Wars movies. Also when I said "12 Star Wars movie" you said that the Disney trilogy doesn't count but then what about the other two Disney Star Wars movies? Do they count because they're better or no because they're Disney? Also, also, why are you replying to my reply instead of the comment that said it first?
I remember seeing the original Star Wars in theaters 2 days after it hit theaters in 1977. I can still remember the feeling of wonder at the spectacle that unfolded on the screen, and how I left the theater absolutely hooked on SW. That love for this franchise has not changed. I do not like the sequel trilogy at all, but I am glad that you guys do. I think the only redeeming part of this trilogy, for me, is I get to watch a newer generation become as enthralled with this saga as I did. Not everyone is going to like every decision that will be made for SW, but so long as their are people who do like it, and there's enough of them, SW will be around for future generations to enjoy, and that is all I could really hope for.
The Bartender that can see everything was actually John Williams the creator and conductor of the music. On the shelf behind him was Easter Eggs to many classic movies he Scored.
Bro, mad respect for the views on viewing order. You are absolutely right. First time should always be release order, because thats how the overall story is told. Same goes for Anime and the whole "canon vs filler" argument.
I am happy you liked this movie, even if others disagree, surely it’s nice to see someone getting some joy from them Just makes me happy to see people enjoy Star Wars
Thank you for your reaction, I enjoyed these movies also. Although, I didn’t like the Luke arc, he was a bad ass Jedi. There is more to come with Rey Skywalker! ❤❤❤
I can see that you liked the new movies. I think a big part for a lot of us that don't is that we were into the whole thing since decades, with all the games, books and comics that already established a ton of things, just for Disney to make their entire own thing and change tons of stuff. If they would have made the movies about a timeline that it's their own like maybe 100 years before or after the OG movies, I believe a lot more of us would have liked it way more, too. I'm just happy that you enjoy it. Bet you will have a lot of fun with the spinoff stuff like Mandalorian and Clone wars, too
Passing Force Energy wasn’t explained in the previous films, but I always assumed that’s what was happening when the hand was placed on the heads. First in Ep. 4 by Obi on Luke, then in Ep. 3 the Emperor on burned Vader.👀👍🏾

Thank for another authentic and emotional reaction.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Although TLJ will always be my favourite of the trilogy, I really like this film too and it's not just the amazing imagery. I find the plot very interesting and some parts quite poetic. I like the development in all the characters (I don't understand why other people can't even see it) except Rose, who was practically pushed out of the picture. Of course it could have been done better, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. However, it has a huge flaw, one I cannot overlook! What happened to Ben crushed my heart.💔 So, no, I'm not OK.😭 I decided to take up residence on the hill named Ben Solo Deserved Better. I've made my home on Bring Ben Solo Back st, and I intend to die on it. Luckily, I have the most wonderful neighbours!!! I guess I'll see you for the _Solo_ reaction; I hope.🥰
The Mandalorian is great, and I am looking forward to that for sure, but please dont sleep on the animated content it is some of the best content out there :D also a little fact since you have missed it Darth Plaguies was Palpatines master when he told Anakin the story he was talking about himself :D
Somehow it fits. I just don't know if that says more about the movie or more about her. But it does fit, if not her, who else would like this disaster?
You're right, quick call the police and have her arrested for making her own mind up about the film and not followed the rest of the nit picking judgemental little sh*ts who must be agreed with at all times!! Let people like what they want to like ffs!
The Last Jedi was the last one she filmed. She died while Rogue One was out, and Episode VIII was released posthumously. What you're seeing is unused footage from The Force Awakens while some digital stand-ins were used in other scenes where applicable (for example, the training flashback which had Carrie's daughter as Leia).
35:38 - Kinda invalidates Anakin's turn to the Dark Side, doesn't it? Healing, keeping things alive, it's no longer a power exclusive to Darth Plagueis and the Dark Side. If a relative novice like Rey could do it, then surely Anakin, the Chosen One, would've been more than capable?
@@SuzySteejo Maybe that too. Although they were aware of bacta tanks back then. Palpatine specifically says "to cheat death is a power only one has achieved". It's apparently rare power only achieved through the Dark Side...which Rey seems to discover on the fly. I also didn't like that the whole arc of the prequel trilogy involved Palpatine using clever schemes and maneuverings and fabricating an entire war, to to achieve power. But here he just pretty much does it all in the dark and in isolation. Anyways, big fan (seen your videos since OG Naruto). I swear, I'm not a hater! :)
You should definitely watch kenobi, andor at the very least. Clone wars despite being animated and starting a bit kiddie is excellent at the end. Plus you'll have more darth maul....
I am a big fan of the Machete Sequence, strictly for the epic momentum between the end of 3 into the arch of Anakin's story. Having seen 1, I don't need to see it again. but without 1, ep2 falls apart quickly.
Machete order is best but no one does it. And lucas I think made the jedi look this way in 4-6 because he was about to shatter that understanding of the jedi in 1-3. You see they are great and respect yoda. But the people that see 1-3 FIRST think about yoda in a totally different way. They see him as a failure that ran away. More concerned with retaining power than upholding the core beliefs of the jedi
I first watched them in release order because... the prequels weren't released yet.😄 I was still able to detect that there was something wrong with Yoda, although I wasn't even 10 at the time. His "there is no try" quote never sat well with me in the first place and I was very upset when he said that Luke should sacrifice Han and Leia if he honored what they were fighting for-and Obi-Wan agreed. I always were a bit controversial and difficult as a child, after all...😬 I understand what you're saying, thought, and I agree. The impression the originals give is that the Jedi were wise and always right. But, I don't think I would have liked the machete order (for a first-time watch that is). It would have ruined the twins twist for me. It might work for others.
Star Wars episode 4,5,6 were a mix of George’s love of serial movies like Flash Gordon and 7th Samurai and political happenings of the 70’s. Episode 1,2,3 were for the children of the ppl who loved 4,5,6. Episodes 7,8,9 were absolutely just money grabs with no real point or reason.
To be fair, George did have plans for a third trilogy they just never came to fruition since he ended up selling the franchise and Disney just did their own thing instead of taking ideas from his concepts and even his advice to Abrams on how it should taken. So I wouldn’t really call the trilogy a “money grab”
You guys should watch Obi-Wan Kenobi its all about what takes place exactly after the conflict between Obi-wan and Anikin is a must watch no doubt the most heart wrenching then I loved the next continuation of Ahsoka Tano who was Anikin Padawan no one even knew about unless you watch the Clone war cartoon they made it a series another very touching story and full fills the whole Anikin story of what he actually might be in the force because he was named the chosen one perhaps for a bigger bigger reason then just about the Jedi I will say both are better then the Solo movie !
I think how much you care about the actual story behind it determines if you like it. Because it doesn’t explain much about things like bringing emperor paperplane back but has pretty cool effects and fights for some people.
Since you liked this, i am sure you will be happy that they are making a new Trilogy with Rey. It`s called "Star Wars: New Jedi Order". And it`s focusing on her quest to reform the Jedi Order amidst a galaxy grappling with the need for its existence, while a New, Powerful Enemy, known as the Yuuzhan Vong, emerges from the outer galaxy, beginning what will be known as the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. The Jedi along with the New Republic, struggle to resist this new alien race while it steadily pushes forward, annihilating or occupying different parts of the galaxy.
@@kylehill9121 Sort of, the part where Rey is building a new Jedi Order is in fact the main Plot of the movie and has been confirmed.. "while a New, Powerful Enemy, known as the Yuuzhan Vong, emerges from the outer galaxy, beginning what will be known as the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. The Jedi along with the New Republic, struggle to resist this new alien race while it steadily pushes forward, annihilating or occupying different parts of the galaxy." That one might not be 100% true..but it does sounds more like his Original Idea for 7-9 which was a Crime Syndicate rising up and was led by "Darth Maul" while Luke was trying to build his New Jedi Order..
_It's a _*_REALLY_*_ weird example of plot armor (it still counts as plot armor, even if his essence was transferred into a clone) that Emperor Palpatine survived getting dropped down the 2nd Death Star's reactor shaft literally minutes before it got blown into space dust. Imagine surviving a battle against the ultimate evil in the universe who founded the Galactic Empire (Lando or Chewbacca, since they were the two living members of the Rebel Alliance at this point) and hearing that your original enemy wasn't quite as dead as you thought._
This was done exquisitely well in the dark empire comics that followed the original canon back in the day. In this one there was no buildup. It was just a reveal for the sake of being a reveal. It wasn't even revealed well since it was revealed from the start.
@lydiakaraiskou1421 The full context of the scene isn't lost on anyone. It's the fact you did it with an expository scene (plus put it in the opening crawl, which is like learning that Darth is Luke's dad from reading the crawl at the start of V) to begin with, with one of your main characters puzzled, b/c you told, not showed. Most of us understand the behind the scenes reasons, but it's still a sloppy shortcut to bring back a villain, that was triumphantly and ceremoniously killed off, 40 years ago.
@@aqeelsabb8292 It's obvious that our views on storytelling are light-years apart, so let's agree to disagree, shall we? Why do I get the feeling that watching an ancient tragedy would be an absolute torture for you? 🎭 😱

Star Wars are the best movies ever 🙌 ✨️ ❤️ 😍 👌 💕
I do not know if I have the strength to do it.
"favorite movie" .. come the hell on lol. I don't have time for this.
@@Kaz-Oz ok, go somewhere else 🙄🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂
You don't. Move along...
@@Kaz-Oz Kaz-oz You people are so weird lol. Just so weird.
I enjoyed watching your reaction. Some of the purists don’t like the movies, I’d love to see their interpretations of a script. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I watch them as separate movies not as a continuation. What’s next Suzy?
thank you for reacting to all these ten movies of Star Wars
Still one more to go
There's 12 Star Wars movies
@@sodaman8888 Technically, sure. The Clone Wars movie, however, is commonly accepted to be 3 TV episodes put together and released theatrically.
Well said
As Star Wars Rouge One takes place before the events of Star Wars Episode 4 ^_^
They already posted the Rogue One video
If you remember.. threepio has had his mind wiped before. It's all gonna be alright!
That was for the sake of him not knowing that his maker had turned evil. This time, it was to translate a language forbidden by his programming.
The Bartender that can see everything was actually John Williams the creator and conductor of the music. On the shelf behind him was Easter Eggs to many classic movies he Scored.
and these comments wonder why literally no one likes 'star wars bros', like seriously....
I think the reason why he returned was because the director had to try to fix a lot of damage done in episode VIII
Love how people act like they were so invested in Snoke.
@@Mokkari77he had potential but it went to waste so I partly agree with your comment
@DDDiego He was an uglier, angrier Palpatine. I don't what more people expected.
"They're not brother and sister" ahahah
Bro, mad respect for the views on viewing order. You are absolutely right. First time should always be release order, because thats how the overall story is told. Same goes for Anime and the whole "canon vs filler" argument.
1:13:02 cue everyone to cry along with Chewie! I was wrecked in the theater at this scene! And nothing has changed 5 years later. 😭
I am happy you liked this movie, even if others disagree, surely it’s nice to see someone getting some joy from them
Just makes me happy to see people enjoy Star Wars

They haven't seen Rebels, so no, they did not recognize it.
@@EntertainmentFan11ohh...
Bet you will have a lot of fun with the spinoff stuff like Mandalorian and Clone wars, too
This series has aged so well. I cant wait for your mandalorian reaction or wherever your Star Wars journey goes next.
Passing Force Energy wasn’t explained in the previous films, but I always assumed that’s what was happening when the hand was placed on the heads. First in Ep. 4 by Obi on Luke, then in Ep. 3 the Emperor on burned Vader.👀👍🏾
One of the pilots at the end was Anthony Daniels...without his C-3PO costume.
Not a fan of this movie at all but I'm glad you guys enjoyed it
1:04 George Lucas recommends chronological order (1-6) because the story is about Anakin
16:06 more sassy bear!
17:06 wow lol. Never thought about BB in that way. Probably cuz I’m not a lady
24:22 interesting guesses. Steejo’s dismissive comment makes it funnier

Thank you for what both of you do ❤️🙏👍
"SOMEHOW.... "
Top 10 scriptwriting
Think that pilot was Ewan McGregor's (Kenobi) uncle who was a pilot in movie IV
And V and VI.
Thank for another authentic and emotional reaction.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Although TLJ will always be my favourite of the trilogy, I really like this film too and it's not just the amazing imagery.
Carrie Fisher was in the Blues Brother movie.
A few months after seeing this in theatre? Lockdowns started lol
The Mandalorian is great, and I am looking forward to that for sure, but please dont sleep on the animated content it is some of the best content out there :D also a little fact since you have missed it Darth Plaguies was Palpatines master when he told Anakin the story he was talking about himself :D
And the reason why I hate this movie? They killed off the best character….
Favorite? Are you kidding?
no wow ppl have enjoy a sequel movie
Somehow it fits. I just don't know if that says more about the movie or more about her. But it does fit, if not her, who else would like this disaster?
Leave them alone
You're right, quick call the police and have her arrested for making her own mind up about the film and not followed the rest of the nit picking judgemental little sh*ts who must be agreed with at all times!! Let people like what they want to like ffs!
@MorbidCrow666 for real
Carrie Fisher past away either before this movie or during filming of this movie which is why they kinda did what they did
The Last Jedi was the last one she filmed. She died while Rogue One was out, and Episode VIII was released posthumously. What you're seeing is unused footage from The Force Awakens while some digital stand-ins were used in other scenes where applicable (for example, the training flashback which had Carrie's daughter as Leia).
@ thanks I couldn’t remember which movie it was I just remembered it being around the time of episode IX
One of the things about this movie is the chess was done the same way they did it in the first movie
Cracking these out at hyperspeed!
Did I hear Knights of the old Republic?! Hell yeah, definately a huge recommendation from me too.
That's like saying bacta tanks invalidate it... - Steejo
I'll say it again. Suzy would make an excellent Sith Lord! Come to the dark side Suzy 😆
1:32:43 >.> LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!
Saw this on iMax, the scale of the screen matching the scale to how big it was to me in '77 helped. And i kinda dumped my expectations at the door.
You should definitely watch kenobi, andor at the very least. Clone wars despite being animated and starting a bit kiddie is excellent at the end. Plus you'll have more darth maul....
Best movie of the new trilogy
😂
If you love Chewie, you should watch The Star Wars Holiday Special.

KOTOR MENTIONED! definitely the best Star Wars game!
Jedi Outcast was also good.

Next is the Star Wars Christmas Special…😢
You guys should look at the original Clone Wars cartoon.
The one from the Samurai Jack guy, it comes together to about two-hours.
You'd like it.
You should also look up a fan video, "Obi-Wan Remembers the Truth", it's an emotional kick in the teeth.
obi wan healed luke when they first met in new hope, did you catch Wedge?
Please watch The Mandalorian! I'm sure you will love it.

you want to see more Carrie, watch The Blues Brothers
if they still have there head in star wars theres a chance there still alive
I got a question for you both.Would you be interested in reacting to the show?King of the hill.
It be interesting to see your reaction to the show
1:39:10 no man, they're not brother and sister, one is a Skywalker and one is a Palpatine. They are not biologically related. lmao 🙂
I am a big fan of the Machete Sequence, strictly for the epic momentum between the end of 3 into the arch of Anakin's story. Having seen 1, I don't need to see it again. but without 1, ep2 falls apart quickly.
Ben wasn't upset about chewy, he was tripping because Rey just shot lightning out of her hands like only a few Jedi and sith have been able to do
Machete order is best but no one does it.
You guys should watch Obi-Wan Kenobi its all about what takes place exactly after the conflict between Obi-wan and Anikin is a must watch no doubt the most heart wrenching then I loved the next continuation of Ahsoka Tano who was Anikin Padawan no one even knew about unless you watch the Clone war cartoon they made it a series another very touching story and full fills the whole Anikin story of what he actually might be in the force because he was named the chosen one perhaps for a bigger bigger reason then just about the Jedi I will say both are better then the Solo movie !
sometimes phobias are named after the first person to show symptoms... Discuss....
17:11 thank you Steejo... everyone caught that one! 🤭
1:09:25 this scene totally feels like it should be in Highlander
Watch obi wan it’s the best to show that follows after the main movies
Reva😂
Clone wars if you want more darth maul, just saying
Yeah, I am really curious to see how anyone can like that movie. It ranks among the worst things I've ever seen in my life and that's no hyperbole. :)
I loved it. I can see how people didn't like it. Victims of their own expectations.
I think how much you care about the actual story behind it determines if you like it. Because it doesn’t explain much about things like bringing emperor paperplane back but has pretty cool effects and fights for some people.
well ur life must be boring then
@BatteryAcid87 read the novel of ep 9 and think for urself
then you haven't seen many movies then huh
This is just speculation based on the New Jedi Order novels which featured Luke in that role
The Jedi along with the New Republic, struggle to resist this new alien race while it steadily pushes forward, annihilating or occupying different parts of the galaxy."
That one might not be 100% true..but it does sounds more like his Original Idea for 7-9 which was a Crime Syndicate rising up and was led by "Darth Maul" while Luke was trying to build his New Jedi Order..
Please please watch The Madalorian series. You will really like it.
You's should watch solo a star wars story and obi-wan tv series

Also the clone wars movie and tv show
You have to watch the Mando/Book of fett!!!!
Suzy, could you and Steejo react to the alien movies?
Please watch the clone wars and Rebels
As a generation Jones this is one of my favorites. My four favorites are episodes five, three, nine, and Rogue One.
"Somehow, Palpatine returned" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
dark science, cloning, secrets only the Sith knew
"Death is a concept invented by the Jedi."
And somehow people are incapable of watching a scene from start to finish and listen to the dialogue long enough to get the full context! 🤷🏻♀️
