- The SFPD intends to stop the annual "Dolores Hill Bomb" skateboarding event from taking place adjacent to Mission Dolores Park. Andrea Nakano reports. (7-5-24)

Stealing, open drug use, pooping and exposing genitalia to the public (including children), etc is ok but skateboarding is something they will not allowed because skateboarding is a crime.

Power struggles never end well when you are dealing with youth. Do you want to wipe the nose or fix the cold? Try getting a combination of community and Pro Professional X-games for a fun day out skateboarding but with some limits! Make it a monthly event. Don’t try to this out with just cops. You are shooting yourselves in the foot and don’t even know it.

Those bike racks can't qualify as barricades.. They're just a suggestion.
But the weekly sideshows that result in zero arrests and $70,000 of damage per intersection are fine... While this event (without police) results in ZERO damage. Everything that happened last year was because of how aggressive the police were. The police act like this with skaters, but when it comes to criminals with stolen cars slinging donuts loaded with guns, the cops show how tough they really are...
And yet they have one more death than the sideshows.
Side show = illegal, the " bomb " also = illegal. NOT LEGAL, NOT LEGAL, NOT LEAGAL!

Someone got injured and now they are cracking down, just accept it. A perfect example of these people holding back the police for unwanted behavior is reflective in the rampant theft and crime in the city and how little they get penalized for it. I was once a democrat but I am thinking that both these parties are just groups of people that I don't want to be a part of.
