Thanks. In general, I do not like home made player aids and components added in any game. I trust designers and playtesters to do their work and add player aid if needed.. Adding stuff will often break the flow. I use only the manual. Tables are in sequence - flipping to next page as I go. Moving to a different table (rarely) out of sequence, it is noted in the table. I play much much faster without missing a step, than guys using player aid here at youtube. I find the optional rules interesting. No doubt a lot of work creating this. But of course not well organized. If I am going to try it, I will use the basic manual as I normally do, with yellow out reference to optional rule, with a similar note in optional rule where to go back to the manual. Unless optional rule or just this campaign - Escort strength is rolled for one leg at time, not the complete route. In this case, checking escort strength back home is done after target zone. Off target - you still roll for possible hit % - a different table. Sequence in target zone: Normal sequence from tech fail to complete attack sequence. Flak. Bomb run - and turn bomb counter facing back home. Flak. Complete attack sequence - no change in weather. Thanks for doing this. I really enjoy your Gaming Cave. We have identical interest in wargames.
There should be a second edition of TFT using the updated rules. But considering the meager production rate from Legion Games I'm afraid that we'll never see it.
Enjoying this play through. Looking forward to more missions!
Thanks.
