@ocremix Just wanted to say that you guys are perhaps the greatest unknown pioneers trailblazing this very little known about genre of music. I hope to see you guys take flight and that game developers will use you guys to make soundtracks. Each and every artist I've heard out of OCRemix is extremely talented. Wish you the best of luck guys and keep on rockin in the free world.
:15-:32 liberally references the first few notes of "Windmill Hut/Song of Storms." The melody's clear from :32-1:38. From 1:38-1:45, there's a quiet cameo of Super Metroid "Brinstar - Red Soil Wetland Area" (also used earlier from :15-:48 in the background).
After a break, "Windmill Hut" is back from 2:34-3:37. 3:37-4:13 had a quiet cameo of "Lost Woods/Saria's Song." Back to "Windmill Hut" from 4:14-5:19 mingled with original writing with the bell sounds & bassline before the track winds down.
This still holds up as one of the best remixes for any game music to this day.
This is by far one of the BEST Zelda Remixes of all time IMO.

@rozovian During the beginning I had this huge eye-widening moment and then it brought memories of my childhood which in turn brought tears to my eyes. Such a good, nice, ambient feel. NIce wall of sound, too! I really like how nothing really stands out, but hits you as a whole. Great job, dude.

This is probably what I´m searching for most the times when checking these up, calming themes that probably could calm your soul to a certain degree. Although it´s pretty tough to hear where the theme is taken, it´s still soothing and relaxing. Mixes should be more like these... you can even walk around with this one.. even in the rain! An exellent theme! ^_^

I can sorta hear it, but I'm not getting the refrence to super metriod and proably because I never grow up with it. (I think it's the meridia song is mix in there some where but, I don't know)
Anyway it's really interesting. props to everyone at ocremix and who ever made this song.
That's what I thought at first, but when I listened closer, I can hear the Song of Storms and Saria's Song playing at some parts. Like ocremix mentioned, it has bits and pieces throughout various parts of the song, and there's even a cameo of Brinstar - Red Soil Wetland Area. That explains why I thought it sounded kinda like Metroid music.
OH My god I put this on my iPod over the summer and listened to it on my way to work along with the other OC Remix songs I put on it.
I'm on 3011 of 4919 total videos in the 'Play All Videos' playlist. It doesn't autoplay anymore because it broke UA-cam. But this remix made it worth.
Sounds great! I love how it's calm and relaxing. Reminds me a little of Metroid music (which btw, is also one of my favorite video game series). :)

I can hear the saria theme @ 3:43! I like how it was not mentioned in the title, so it comes as a surprise.
The theme is chopped up into bits and transposed and switched and played in different rhythms and speeds. The 3-note rhythm is probably the most prominent part of source, but there's a lot more in there. :D

I can hear a lot of the general bit of the original song in. It's hard to pick out through the beat, and other layers but it is there. It seems like actually the song of storms part repeats itself in different ways throughout. I only picked it out from having a sound production course and with good headphones and speakers you can decipher it if you single out the song itself by listening. It's an awesome mix of layers. Awesome remix overall.

Not Maridia, it's from Brinstar Red Soil. The background notes from 0:14 and on follow the pattern of those in Red. :D

@WolvenMusic Yup, I borrowed a pattern from Red Brinstar for the background. It's there some of the time, but mostly soft and under the other instruments.

They really need to do a remix of the temple of time theme.
