You know what’s funny that I didn’t point out. The dash timer on my first pass said 2.9s to 60. You can see it on the view from my camera, but the track recorder shows 2.7s. That’s confusing.
my 2018 SL63 was 3.33 with rollout best I could get simply due to traction, most times it was around 3.5-3.6... I certainly wasnt running in the 10's quarter mile ! Thats one fast machine !..... I like the new races they do on the edmunds channel, one end to the other turn, and run back - they do the new Z06 on there.
Looked like the dash timer showed 2.9 on the first pass. I think the Z06 timer uses 1 foot rollout for 60 mph, which would explain the difference there.
It's pretty interesting result. Since C8Z uses 0-60 with 1 feet roll out included, but the quarter mile doesn't. This information was what I was looking for. Thanks!
I just put 500 miles on my C8 Z06, I think I figured out where your little drag strip is in Phoenix:). I may see you there soon, really need to test out the launch control!

C8 timer uses 1 foot roll out. Doesn't start counting till the vehicle has moved forward by one foot.

I've gone 0 to 60 2.6, 5.95 to 100 and 10.70 on my pdr. 23 Z06. Iron brakes stock wheels tires. Bone stock.
How many miles did you have on your Z before you began launching it?
I was about 800 miles before I started using the launch control.
The onboard timer has always been very generous aka a propaganda machine lol. Regardless the draggy times are impressive.
