That is so beautiful did you find the floral template on a cake you made a year ago you used broken pieces of fondant and made a marble affect cake but also used the floral template ????
This was really pretty Mary! When you added the black icing do you have to put the cake back in the fridge so your brush marks won’t affect the buttercream underneath? Great job on this one Mary😊
Beautiful as always! How do you stick your cakes to the boards when you’re smoothing your cakes? I use buttercream, but it always seems to slide around. Also, what consistency should the buttercream you use be?
I use tape rolled up. The consistency depends on what I am using it for. Crumb coats and final Icing it is peanut butter consistency. For damming I thinken it up quite a bit.
