The Particle is so freaking awesome. Thanks!

Is there any time period over which the frozen buffer fades out? Or, will it freeze indefinitely, and if so, could there be a setting added to have it fade out, instead? Thank you! 😊

It freezes forever, but if you lower the auto-freeze threshold, you can punch in new notes as it is playing. Thanks for the suggestion! We'll consider that for a future update.

Can I assign the Freeze Button to the Expression Pedal?

Yes - you can assign the freeze threshold to the expression pedal. Easiest to do using the web editor, and if you want it to act like an on/off switch you can calibrate the expression pedal with a very short travel between the min and max values.

When I try this I get a really pronounced time-stretching effect when I sweep the delay knob. Is there a setting I'm missing?
EDIT: I think I'm in Delay Freeze instead of Grain Freeze. Whoops.

does this also works with particle mk1 in the same way?

No, Particle V1 will mangle (stretch/compress/shift) the frozen signal as you change the delay time. Which is also a cool sound, and it is available in the Particle 2 by setting the freeze mode to "delay".
