Launch Date: March 7, 2023 Current prices of Illuvitars: Standard: 0.005 Eth Mega: 0.025 Eth Standard Alpha: 0.025 Eth (limit 100,000) Mega Alpha: 0.125 Eth (limit 20,000)
So the items and Illuvitars inside the D1sks are not predetermined but randomized at the time they are opened, so my assumption is mint number will be given to accessories and Illuvitars on disk loading. Since D1sks, Illuvitars and Accessories are each their own NFT collection I doubt that the D1sk number and Illuvitar or Accessory mint number will correlate.
@@SKR9denofdrumz 1.) leave unopened and play the long game so that in 3-10 years if Illuvium does what it hopes to do and be on par with Pokémon in terms of popularity unopened D1sks, especially from wave 1, will be more valuable. 2.) leaving it unopened to open yourself later I don’t see too much advantage in. Your odds of a rarer base portrait or accessory doesn’t increase over time since any wave 1 illuvitar or accessory can be pulled from a wave 1 D1sk. There is not a maximum number of any one Illuvitar or accessory. Now after the wave 1 sale there will be the misprints sale where they will auction off 1/1 portraits that weren’t minted during the sale. These will be more valuable since they’re 1/1. You could argue that leaving a D1sk unopened until after the sale gives you a chance to pull one of the misprints and make it a 2/2. But it was recently pointed out to me that in a way you have the same chance to get your own 1/1 prior to the end of the sale just by opening said pack. Any Illuvitar opened is a 1/1 until someone else opens it. Sorry for the novel. Lol there could be an angle I haven’t considered but (depending on the gains you’d hope to make) the only reason to hold unopened D1sks is the long game, or as a content creator to open live for entertainment purposes after the sale has concluded.
@@mrdingles5107 You'll pay a little in gas fees whenever you transfer tokens (whether it be Eth or sILV2) on or off of layer2. But once you're buying, selling or trading on layer2 you'll only pay marketplace fees. But let me know if you run into any trouble, always happy to help!
@Artemis Illuvium & Crypto man ty for quick response! what do you need for market place fees? I have sILV2 and some eth in my meta mask. Do I need the eth for the marketplace fees? And once the Illuvium Beyond goes live, am I going through the Immunable X website?
@@mrdingles5107 The fee will be taken from which ever coin you use to purchase I think. So if you pay in sILV2 the fee would come from there as well since they don't allow you to purchase with multiple types of coin in one transaction. Once Illuvium Beyond goes live you'll want to buy your D1sks on the Illuvidex: illuvidex.illuvium.io/illuvitars-sale But if you're looking to buy Illuvitars or accessories on the secondary market you can do that either from the Illuvidex or the IMX marketplace.
Sorry for the confusion, the video version was taken from a Work in progress demonstration. These are the current prices: Standard: 0.005 Eth Mega: 0.025 Eth Alpha standard: 0.025 Eth (limit 100,000 ) Alpha mega: 0.125 Eth (limit 20,000)
The alpha ones are the most exclusive and there’s 120k of them. That’s a lot versus the number of Illuvials in the set. I hope these backgrounds and accessories are worth it because most of this project is depending on it. After seeing that pack battle on Discord it really hit me…no way I’d be pumped to get a clown nose and fedora. The excitement is the Illuvial itself and potential for a holo. I could be wrong.
Personally, I don't care at all for the accessories and I cringe at the idea of adding any to my Illuvitars. I am a collector at heart so I am excited to test this out, but I would be more excited if there was a TCG attached to this product. Opening packs is way more of a high if you can find a really good playing card. But who knows maybe they'll develop one
@@artemisILV I agree. A pack battle where the most exciting thing is a pipe isn’t very interesting. In hindsight it may have been better to have a limited run Illuvial-only pack with a few different levels of possible rarity like most trading cards. Then sell accessory packs that help with the actual game separately. You can kind of see how this is going to play out. People buying up the cheap packs to get a rare Illuvial or holo and then dumping everything else. You’ll be able to pick one of these up for under a dollar. I’m not sure if that’s the brand image they want to portray. I really, really hope I’m wrong on this.

Let's go Alpha D1sks!!! 🔥
Great video, thanks Artemis
Enjoyed this style!
Super insights.
will illuvitars inside a disk have the same mint number as d1sks and when the mint number is assign on purchase or disk loading?

So how do you connect wallet to immutable x or whatever?
