i passed my CBT 2 days ago, somehow.
there was a time where i was pulling out from a junction, my brain farted, i didn't look where i wanted to go and i panicked, nearly binned it into a van.
i thought i failed because the instructor told me we were going back to the training place. i was so dejected because i really really wanted to pass.
then, we pulled over to the side of the road, the instructor asked me what i was thinking at the time, and i explained what happened.
we had a little talk about safety and keeping calm, and she gave me a second chance. i tried my hardest and even went into some really busy parts of town. i'd never driven in a city environment for years at this point.
now, i've got my certificate on the fridge door, and i look at it every day and i'm so thankful towards my instructor for giving me a second chance.
we all make mistakes, and considering that i'd learned how to ride a motorcycle in busy traffic in less than a day, having absolutely 0 experience prior and very limited road experience, i'm immensely proud of myself for pushing through it and against all odds, getting that certificate.
now all i have to do is get a bike XD

      Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻
The instructors want you to pass. So long as your safe we all make mistakes, providing it wasn’t a big one they allow a lot of wiggle room imo, but they to see you’re not going to kill yourself.

Thank you truly Mr Dom cat ! Yo soy Pedro and yes I passed both MOD 1 and 2 on the first attempt . I’m absolutely delighted and what a journey it’s been . This coming Monday I pick up my brand new Suzuki SV 650 and I’m very happy. I also got a buyer fir my CBF 125 !.. and now I find myself being mentioned in a tube of you video , can’t believe it .
On the morning of the test I was actually being sick despite only having 2 toasts and a can of soup in two days . Can’t believe I’ve finally got my license ,, and TBH, I feel,I’ve earned it ..
Thanks fella for the mention and look forward to ur next video ..

Missed this one Dom god knows how but better late than never., totally get it nerves can just wreck you I had it terrible and when I passed it was one hell of a lot simpler than now . I feel for anyone trying these days and like you when I started I wasn't sure it was what I really wanted but pressed on thankfully ,it took 5 attempts for all sorts of stupid reasons . It's a good job you fell on grass and not on actual tarmac 😊👍

I got so nervous the day before my MOD 1 that I cancelled it due my anxiety levels. I've actually got a new MT-125 turning up on Tuesday where I am hoping more practice time and road time will help build my confidence.

It will… but the ‘test’ fear will still be there. My mod story is in the van coming soon, but I was sick as a dog the night before the test. You just need to push through until you get what you want 😉

I managed to fall off 3 times doing a U turn in Milton Keynes and ended up crying on a grassy bank on the side of the road. And I passed 😂

Filter away i say. It's neither legal or illegal where I'm from. The Police tend to accept what is (40kmh or less ,left middle or right depends on traffic being stationary or how slow) and local council and land transport authorities appear to accept same when it comes to bus lanes,t2,t3 or t4 lanes. In other words anything goes unless your being stupidly reckless. Our CBT as 250cc restrictions some 50yrs ago they do something called LAMS now (Learner approved and prohibited Motorcycles which could mean detuned 650cc). Crashed and passed wtf :)
