ಬಸವರಾಜ ಮಾಲಗತ್ತಿ ಯವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಂಡಂಥ ದಕ್ಷ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಆದರೆ ಎಲೆ ಮರೆ ಕಾಯಿ.ನಾನು ಕೆಸಿಡಿ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಇವ್ರು ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ನೆನಪಿದೆ ಆಗ 'ನೋಡ್ರಿ ಇವತ್ತಿನ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಕಾಪಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡದರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಪಾಳ ಕೊಡಬೇಡಿ ಹೊಳ್ಳಿ ಅವನ್ನ ಎರಡು ಕಪಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡಿರಿ ಅಂತ ಅಂದಿದ್ದರು ಅಂದ್ರ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಅಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಸರ್ವೀಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಅವ್ರನ್ನ ನೋಡಿದ್ರೆ ಸಾಕು ಅಬ್ಬಾ if u are criminal u will feel that ಗಡಗಡ.

Appreciation of Sri Shankara Bidri, IPS, Sri Mariswamy IPS, Sri Ajaykumar Singh IPS in their instilling enthusiasm in colleagues and officers as mentioned by Sri Basavaraj Malgatthi is truly appreciable. His doors were wide open and was not insisting on prior appointments. The track of the culprit in hit and run was thrilling raising the eye brows. Kalamadhyama should also interview other officers including dare devil constables, sub inspectors, inspectors, circle inspectors ACPs who made good names like Sri Malagatti who served the cause of the society in all earnestness.

Sir hats of to you, the best of police officer among many officers,had wrong notion about police officers, but you change my perception, you are example the best officer.
