Hello, Jade I’m a Muslim mom of 4(2 boys and 2 girls) I agree! I also notice that girls' clothing is getting smaller and tighter over time I most of the time buy my girls bigger sizes intentionally! Also, I have a role “just like her for brother , no tight or very short clothing “ beauty is not about showing more”

Yes!!!!!! I remember once I was looking for short pants for my daughter (she was 4 at that time) and had to buy short pants for babies because they were bigger and larger... 🤯

Lent is a perfect time to start dressing more feminine and modest! My girls and myself have completely transitioned to only wearing dresses and skirts (below the knees) a few years ago and have never looked back! God bless and hope you have a fruitful lent.

What a sweet video! I have only one daughter but she’s just about 29. But I did enjoy dressing her and doing her hair as a young child. I wish I could do it all over again! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm glad to see someone other than a Muslim tackle this issue on the lack of modesty in society. I am Muslim and I find I am always having to explain myself to others as to why I am covered up more than the rest of society. However, if we get people from other faiths to be on board with modesty, then perhaps we Muslims wouldn't look as strange to others. May God guide you and your family and make it easy for you all to always remain modest, Ameen.

I agree with not walking around advertising brands. It doesn't make sense to buy a very expensive piece of clothing and on top of that you're advertising the product. I love the outfit ideas, specially the skirt under the dress and the dress under the skirt to make it as a shirt. The little one looks so cute, trying to model her sisters. Thank for the video. I have a 16 yr old daughter and it's hard to make her understand but also a 5 yr old that still listens and lets me help her when choosing an outfit. 😅😊

Jady, I have a question for you.. would you do a video about exposing your children images on social media eg. Taking photos, videos etc.. because I post videos and photos of my family (milestones, stuff we get up to) of my kids and husband and I get side eyed by some people around me however It brings me joy. I am mindful of what I post but with all this *kids dont have a say or someone might take their images etc.. I want to another prospective. Thanks

I agree Jady, media has hypersexualize women and we have been desensitize to inappropriate clothing over the years to the point that people don’t see anything wrong with it. We need to stop being influenced by the world!

I have a 3 year old daughter and if she wears leggings under long dresses or skirts. She almost never wears jeans (her jeans are from the boys section). She can fit in a 3T but I put her in 4T bottoms and 5T tops just to cover her little body. Bathing suits are just disgusting for little girls. I’ve found rash guards and boys swim trunks- girls ones are too tight or not cut appropriately. I do sundresses with bike shorts for her. I also wear sundresses with bike shorts or I wear maxi dresses/skirts with lots of coverage. It starts with mom- I don’t wear just leggings, I wear a skirt over it so she won’t feel it looks weird if that’s just how we dress. It’s scary how careful you have to be with your children- predators are everywhere.
I have to say you’re girls are beautiful little balls of light and love. Gabby looks like one of those little American girl dolls! You are truly blessed!
I only have boys, so I have no experience dressing a girl. I do spend time with my niece in the summer and it always pains me when I see how she is dressed. She's only 8 years old and her mother never buys her shorts that fit nor does she take care of my niece's hair. Sometimes her t-shirts are longer than her shorts and it's not because the shirt is too big it's because her shorts are two sizes too small. I know if I ever said anything it would not be well received, so i just grin and bear it. Last year when we dropped the kids off at summer camp, she showed up with the shortest shorts and t-shirt that was the same length of her shorts and it looked like she didn't have anything on under her shirt. All of the other little girls were dressed appropriately except for my niece. The things that really irks me is that my BIL and SIL are not poor people either, they have expensive vehicles, and my SIL buys luxury designer pieces, but doesn't take any pride in how her daughter is dressed.

I have a rule for my daughter who is seven that if she wears a skirt or dress she needs to wear leggings or shorts underneath. I want her to be modest but I also want to see her being active

I recently bough a cute dress in the clearance area at walmart lile the black on your daughter has on w the white shirt underneath I was so excited when i saw it because i dont see clothes like that anymore... it makes me sad the clothes are so sexy... sometimes ill see some cute ones and to my surprise when i unfold the top its a cropped top whyyyyyy?!!! My daughter is 5 why would i want her little baby girl body exposed like that. It grosses me out for sure... i love these videos 😍😍😍
Thanks so much for this video and examples. I've been following you for about 7 years. My girls are older now and they dress like your girls. I may participate in this challenge myself as I'd love to get into wearing dresses and skirts more! I had boys first and we have always been against letting boys be shirtless in public, my husband included. So at the pool, they are always wearing rash guards or tshirts. Both men and women, as Christians, should have the focus be on Christ. Your girls look beautiful as always and I totally agree with what you said, Jady!

Beautiful family! My daughter and I are in transition of dresses as well right now. I’m not so much in skirts yet because as a women I’m having a hard time finding shirts that aren’t tight or low. And where we moved there is not very good thrift stores. :/ just three years here though…. Military family. Not only does the outside show Christ but the inside too. God is leading and guiding and working through you! So thankful for your channel.
So true I'm always complaining at Pep stores SA kids clothes are just shorter and shorter and my girls are tall. These days it's worse even going to church there's just no modesty in dress code, kids not taught how to little ladies it's sad. Thanks for the video, I'm always strict as well. So cute!! my oldest daughter struggles wanting to wear a skirt if she just wears leggings and a shirt. I have thought of just buying her dresses and that's all she would be able to wear but I want her to make the decision on her own to wear a skirt with them. I want her to want to wear it. I'm going to show her this video for some outfit ideas. I hope she gets inspired
