I’m studying Numbers right now and wrote down a quote I heard on The Bible Project video concerning the 1st generation not being able to receive the blessing of the promise land (longest sentence ever). The video was discussing the free will to obey or disobey God. Quote for TBP: “While God is faithful to His people and His promises, He will honor their choices and let them waste their whole lives if they choose to live in rebellion”. That was a powerful statement for me. Choices, decisions, thoughts, actions, words…..it all has an impact on our daily walk with God. Having just finished the first three books of the the Bible I am again reminded that details big and small are important to God concerning His children. When the truth is read sometimes we(I) have a tendency to think, feel, and believe God meant xyz, when the reality is, He said what He said for a purpose. He didn’t ask us what we think, feel, believe, so we don’t get to use that when reading the Bible. Now there are many, many times I just plain don’t understand what He’s saying and have to do a lot of research and there are times I still don’t understand and may never. Whatever the case, I work on that daily and try to make sure I know who, when and why His telling something. All that being said, I really enjoyed your study process. Thank you.
This is such a “God Moment” for me. Lately, I’ve been trying to incorporate a more inductive study into my Bible journaling. I just felt like my focus was on my talents creating the pages and not enough focus on God. I’m learning the inductive study and this is the exact chapter I posted a video on. Of course you explain it allot better then I did, but I’ve always said repetition in confirmation of God. As I am watching, I’m blow away that our studies are so similar. I’ve followed you for years and I’m so glad you are doing this type of journaling process. Thank you Lindsey! I’m tearing up typing this because I’m just in aww of our God. Keep doing what you are doing. God is working through you to confirm things to us!
Very nice, thanks for sharing the study material that you did for this section of the devotional material! I need to get my gel plate out and fool with it! always nice to see someone else using theirs to pick up some ideas. Thanks again for sharing you work with us.

Enjoyed hearing your study process first for this page. What an beautiful image with the girl on top of the rocks! Inspired me to pull out my Gelli plate (love / hate relationship with it) and give it a try for some backgrounds.
Just Wow! I got my kit, but I'm finishing another study before I start. Your study today has me eager to dig in. And the techniques looked so fun. That page is an adventure!
Thanks! Since I spend most of the time reading from my Bible and study notes it would make for an awkward video of me just looking down. And it would require changing my filming settings up every time so it’s not likely that’ll I’ll be switching it up anytime soon but thanks for the suggestion 💕

What a great way to explain how we have free will in that we have the freedom to choose to obey or not but that doesn’t change what God says is good.
