Hello everyone! Winter is on the way, here's our review of a Chinese diesel heater that we fitted almost 2 years ago into our self converted van. Would love to hear peoples opinions on them?

To get great fuel consumption change the secret settings,1688 is the code if I remember right,1.1hz and low fan speed to 1650
Had mine for 3 years now and still going great, just starting to convert a Kia Sedona disabled car and will be putting a 2kw one in
Great vid, loads of useful info. Stay warm folks.
Hi can I point out your fuel pipe is rubbing on the exhaust!
Thank you
Thanks for the 2 year review. Many do reviews on new products then you never see or hear about the product again.
Thanks! It’s the review you want if your thinking of getting one. It served us really well and we wouldn’t have been able to go to some of the places without it
@@theunfamiliarroute i put a 5kw htr in my van in July. Waiting for cooler temps to run properly.
@@frederick6008 nice, I would give it a solid test run before the winter months make sure it’s all running smooth and you’ll be fine
fire .gas line on echaust and exhaaust must exit out from bottom of trunk or u are inhaling exhaust
As you may already be aware, your controller is not (easily) adjustable as is Enjoyed uour simple, but informative, video.paddy’s. A sensible choice to purchase the smaller heater - a 4kW version would not allow you to turn it down low enough.
I love you guy's accents...I'm going to get one based on ur info. U say the 2kw is more than sufficient?? I'm from New England, New Hampshire to be exact and the winter has been fairly mild with the exception of a 15 below at the beginning of the month. Thanks for the video
Vid starts at 1:45 😂
Have a question for you...did you have a small smell of burning plastic coming from the heater??...mine does that and can't get rid of it...pretty annoying.
10 amps is the norm for glowplug draw, because most fag lighter sockets are limited to 10 amps and most are not capable of achieving that and blow fuses.same goes using most solar batteries dc outputs are not capable and trip unless they use inverter, then step it back down to 12v dc. my own 5 kw draws up to 10 amps then drops below 1 amp till shut off when the glow plug reignites for a while to burn off the excess fuel in chamber
