I’m thinking of using an electric banjo, I was wondering if there are any tips/things I might need to know or get for it? I’d be running it through a pedal board ideally
I'm certainly no expert and everything I say should be taken w a grain of salt, but they're pretty noisy. I'm using a Goldtone SMP+ pickup in my banjo and running it as one would with a guitar, I've heard good things about Kavanjo pickups. It can be finicky to balance out the distortion with feedback as the banjo presents a whole new set of challenges than a guitar. I basically just played around with it until I found what I was looking for combining the input of the banjo and the room mic to get the raw banjo twang
Thank you comrade. Lemme pull out my bass real quick 1st riff on low D string----0 3/8 0 12 10 0 10 8 0 8 7 2nd riff on high D string---- same as above but faster 3rd that's at beginning of vid (open string is high D, other notes on G)----- 0(D) 10/14(G) 0(D) 19 17(G) 0(D) 17 15(G) 0(D) 15 14(G)

Hey do you have banjo tabs/chords for this song? I'm having a hard time making out the notes. Sick cover BTW!
Have you got the bass tab for the intro to this song as well
I do, shoot me an email
🖤 🔥 great job! do you know the intro bass tabs?
Thank you comrade. Lemme pull out my bass real quick
1st riff on low D string----0 3/8 0 12 10 0 10 8 0 8 7
2nd riff on high D string---- same as above but faster

Are you struming all the strings or just the D and G?
Hey guy, hate to bother you, but do you mind telling me what banjo tuning they use?
Oh not a bother quite the opposite pal. They use classic open g with the high fifth string removed. DGBD. Bass is in drop D
