- WE ARE BACK. First episode of 2024 we head to the victorian high country, an area we have never explored before. We show you it like never before.
This week we head to Noojee area and find a camp at Toorongo falls and use this as a base to explore the area. We catch fish and enjoy a beautiful sunset and enjoy a hike to the falls.
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and new years and managed to get some well deserved rest. Bring on 2024

If your in the area , stop by rubicon valley with the hydro electric plant you can walk along (camp there as well ) and then duck up to cathedral rangers for a hike and or camp , snobs creek falls , to eildon , over to Mansfield into bright and over the great alpine road which is easy in a caravan as long as it’s not snowing.

It's great to see you enjoying this part of Vic. It is almost my backyard.
If you are still here when you read this, consider a day trip out to Walhalla without the caravan.
The road from Walhalla up through Aberfeldy to Matlock and on to Jamieson, is also a great drive, once again without the caravan. Thompson Dam is worth a look too.
Check the roads are open before you go and make sure you don't go there on days of high fire danger.

We were at tooronga falls a couple of days ago and every man and his dog were there. Just way too busy with campers and daytrippers everywhere. We'll try again once school holidays are over.
Oh wow! We must have got really lucky to snag that spot! Yeah definitely give it a try again, maybe mid week of you can to avoid weekend tourists. Such a great spot and local little towns are really good too!
We were very lucky to grab that spot. There were a few day-trippers but we managed to haver a good time

What a good start to 2024. We will forget about Deryck’s “Fishing Incident”. Beautiful drone footage once again. Victoria’s High Country is spectacular. Great Vid guys, we live in Bright, don’t be afraid to tow on the Great Alpine Rd, we have towed the length many times, just drive to conditions (winter is a different story 😉)

You don't need to throw them back, they do it all by themselves 😊. Beautiful country but that Xmas rain caught a lot of people out. I was camping on the Murray River near Mullwala and on Christmas Eve rain and gale force winds nearly destroyed my setup. Spent all Christmas Day driving home.. looking forward to your next adventure.

Hi, technical question about the i check tyre pressure monitoring system, have read you need the optional extra signal booster our van is 8.5m i total length. do you the signal booster and if so would you recommend?
Yes, you may need the signal booster as its quite a long van. Defenitly worth it
