I really try to not do that with the moms of my childcare babies. You mention a good thing, mention any relevant bad things, and another good thing. Aka compliment sandwich. Nothing too good so they don’t feel like they’re missing out with their baby. Balancing act lol
As a former daycare worker, I can assure you YOUR kid probably did have a good day…in comparison to the other hellions 😂 I loved all the kids I worked with, but there was definitely an internal ranking of what “good” and “bad” was considered on a curved scale 😂

I've definitely met people who were never toilet trained. You identify them by smell. It's not the location that's usually the problem, it's the cleanup

All my nieces and nephews are cute but that’s just a trick, the oldest will have my stepdads (bandads) wallet getting robux, the second oldest with steal his phone for UA-cam, the next one will be running around terrorising the house, the next will break everything they touch and the youngest will steal your food off your plate and take a bite out of something at a party and put it back on the plate

I don't think it's wrong that you have a favorite so long as you don't treat them any differently and make sure all the kids know they're loved equally. That last part is the important part. Because frankly, kids aren't dumb and will know it anyhow. Hiding it only makes them feel worse about it.
