"No Luck Then".. one of the best lines of the series.
Scenes From A Hat makes its debut here with some good suggestions from Paul, Ryan and Josie.
Paul to Josie (a Weight Watchers party): "No luck then?"
Great, even if just under the applause you can hear Josie say "I'm gonna fuckin' kill you!"
Something stirring in the lab: Paul acts like he is actually stirring some chemical.

this show will never last, I give it another 2, maybe three, centuries....another Blue Peter, or Horizon

Well, he gave away the punchline before the actors could do the setup.
You can tell Paul and Josie are good friends, because only good friends can get away with making jokes like that. xD
I read an article once that mentioned that they auditioned together, and the producer said they "blew everyone else off the stage".
clive jumped ahead of the improvers and made a pun about elephants packing their trunks. it's a pun, also it stole the joke from the scene before it was played by the actors.
That’s got to be one of the best shows.

And Paul is hilarious, going to miss him after his last episode. My early series favorite for sure, he's so funny.

5:01 Ryan says "let me have your stool, I deserve to put that up there". I guess he was apologising for the sow joke!

Apparently Paul and Josie actually were in a short lived series together on Channel 4 called "Josie" in 1991. I can't find it on youtube though.
This is historic. First ever Scenes From A Hat, AND the first time they just redo a scene the same way twice for the next suggestion.

Wow. Really annoying how the host always has to chime in and ruin their jokes. Like Clive and the elephant trunks bit, and one other time during Psychiatrist or something he messed up Chip's joke and on the US version Drew ruined Wayne's singing to David Hasslehoff by saying "We'll all run in slow motion around you." And Wayne goes "There goes my plan." The hosts need to shut up sometimes.
oh man the uk version sucks so hard compared to us version...even ryan and greg kinnda suck here =/
