I can’t wait when they finish future I-69 in Arkansas by going through Helena, Pine Bluff, El Dorado, and Magnolia, Arkansas’ several major cities. It could be that I-69 May connect I-530 just southeast of Pine Bluff in Arkansas. There will be no I-53, since it is cancelled.
Absolutely the best music I have heard on your videos! As I contemplate eight-lane I-55 taking its own cloverleaf exit one lane wide to go across the only operational bridge across the Mississippi River in the Memphis area, I am not surprised that the next video is subtitled “The Traffic Jam”! How’s the I-40 reconstruction project faring?
I first drove the new section of. I 69 from Port Huron to Flint in 1985 the section around Lansing in 1987 and South of Lansing in 1989, they need to finish the section from Memphis to Kentucky.
The only portion I've been on is the one in Mississippi. I don't think we even have video of the part that isn't concurrent with I-55. Might have been before 504 Road Trips.
I haven't looked much into it. I'm sure there's resistance along all of the unbuilt sections. Probably some pristine wilderness they don't want to disturb, so they have to come up with some creative way to make the interstate blend in. Who knows...

Excellent video.

The bridge reopened in early August. It hasn’t really been in the news since then. I’m sure they still have things to do though.
I just came back from a road trip today from Belton and Temple TX

Nice music
I enjoyed Memphis BBQ company (in Horn Lake) the last time I was near Southaven.
I"m going to have to check that out. We seem to end up spending the night in Southaven whenever we go through Memphis.
Wow 😮
Great video! So, the next one (9/15) is you guys getting stuck in traffic to leave Tennessee to go into Arkansas? That will be fun to watch!
Yes, we were creeping along for about 45 minutes. We won't make you watch that in real-time though.
Wonder why I-69 designation at the state line. Anyways it felt we were in Mississippi for a while. A little bit of traffic jam seen in this video.
You ain't seen nothin' yet!
The I-40 bridge was closed due to a structural issue. They found a crack.
Didn't some people in Tennessee get upset about I-69 being built between Memphis and Kentucky they actually wanted to ban construction?

Nope. Just 12 miles across the corner of the state.
