BEAMISH Living Museum of the North | Part 1 of Beamish, the Living Museum of the North - Durham

Beamish Museum - is an open-air museum located in Beamish, near the town of Stanley, in Durham County, England. Guided in principle, the museum's mission is to preserve an example of everyday life in the north-east of urban and rural England at the height of industrialization in the early twentieth century.
Much of the reconstruction and interpretation is typical of the post-modernist and Southern states, as well as part of the rural influence of the industrial revolution of the 1825s. In the 300 ha (120 ha) estates he uses a mixture of translucent, original and replicated buildings, an excellent collection of artifacts, working vehicles and equipment, as well as the cattle house and the co-translator.
The museum has received several awards since it opened to visitors in 1972 and has influenced other living museums. This educational resource also helps to maintain traditional Nordic and rare breeds of cattle.
