We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Exactly! It's feels more like a huge home instead of a big building that people happen to live in.
i will recommend that you invest in a wood gassification boiler or wood stove i live in the country in Canada and also in a old building 1872 much better use of your cord wood good luck

The family room that you have started with looks lovely and cosy. Can’t wait to follow the rest of your journey with you. Thank you for sharing it. It makes Covid isolation much, much more bearable.

Are there any videos about the planning process for finding the property and the key steps to take financially, legally, hiring right professionals eg land managers, engineers, etc? These programmes are great entertainment but seems rare that anyone actually breaks the process down, it would make an amazing book. Thanks

How I wish my father were alive to watch these videos with me. Like all of you, he was a carpenter, a painter, a tiler, a drywaller, a plasterer, a finisher, plus my father was an engine mechanic, a roofer, spoke 5 languages, a musician, scuba diver, a chemist, a plumber, a bricklayer, an electrician,
a boat captain and pilot, a U.S. Navy Seaman and a great father. He so would have loved watching all these episodes!
I am thoroughly enjoying watching each and every episode of your journey to update and preserve the history of you Bellisemo Chateau.
I feel my fathers presence beside me enjoying each and every episode as well. Even telling me how he would have done something differently or how he like the way you did this or that.
My Father is Very Loved and Very Missed.

Greate castle. And camera work is very good. Change the robot lady voiceover or warm it up. It dont give welcoming feel. Also music is too dramatical.
