- This is my 1981 CBX 1000 Pro Link restomod bike.
Altida Technology in Morlupo, Rome, has built it up under my request and specifics.

Beh se vuoi puoi compare la mia dato che non ho piu temp di andarci e ho troppe moto e auto. Io non ho avuto mai problemi nemmeno a roma. Ovviamente io ho tutto a libretto, quindi... Prima cosa che mi hanno guardato è la misura degli pneumatici, ma io sono in regola, come sono in regola con targa, frecce, luci, etc. Sul rumore, se non esageri... Ripeto, se vuoi puoi acquistare la mia, dato che ho intenzione di venderla.

Rombo bellissimo! I motori Honda sono da sempre fantastici e soprattutto affidabilissimi. Da 2 anni giro con il CBR 600 e devo dire che mi trovo da dio. Questo modello mi ricorda un po la Hornet, davvero bello :)

Love the restoration with the tasteful mods.
It keeps the originally engineered beauty in the lines but brings up performance to the modern Era for braking and suspension.

Best cbx 1000 I've seen. So awesome how people modify these.
Air filters are good, mmkay! Great sounding and well specced out bike! The idle is very high, the CBX sounds good at any rpm, so you don't need to idle at 2000-2500. Again, air filters man! An air box with air filters do have a purpose, they are complicated, usually ugly, heavy and take up a lot of room, but they do have their purpose! With a good airbox design, the carbs are much easier to tune (the carbs are engineered for airboxes) and they also make more power, certainly over a greater rpm/load range!

The camshaft selection on these was so good right out of the crate. I often wondered why Honda chose such an aggressive grind when they had all that displacement and didn't really need it. Get those flat slides working right and you'll have a real beast. FWIW, these do like a little bit of a warm up before reving them in neutral.

Very nice CBX, tastefully and sensibly modified, the only thing missing is air filters. Trick exhaust, would love to hear it being ridden and recorded properly, he should hook up with Bozzy so we can hear it. I'm not being critical, but just a bit fat and chunky looking around the tail piece tail light number plate area. Good choice of colour.....Great Job.

Really nice bike and sounds amazing! I just picked up a 1981 project CBX and I'm going the resto-mod route. Are you using the stock frame? How difficult is it to fit aftermarket forks and swingarm? Thanks for any advice you can offer and congrats on a beautiful bike.
Orignal frame. Then you have to find some cbr 1000 front and some lighter swingarm. Just considerazione that any link and adapter is custom made including platea, bolts, risers, etc. Every component on this bike is custom made or heavily adapted

Very pretty, I have a 79z, tried to upgrade certain things, but I selected other better CBX bits eg I have the prolink front end on mine, with the ventilated discs and four pot calipers, all CBX parts, love them.
Mine sounds just like yours, I have a Walker six into one, that was built in 79 but has a modern Yoshi can, the headers have been ceramic coated silver. Love those carbs on yours

uno dei giocattoli più belli del mondo (quei 6 Keihin...!!), col suono più soave di questa terra (madonna questo scarico come lo esalta, chissà dal vivo!!!) direttamente dagli "anni giusti". complimenti e se puoi, fai un video dove la si senta urlare aprendo la strada come le acque di mosè (i più tecnici nelle riprese montano direttamente un microfono con apposito guscio-anti-aria per registrare il suono dello scarico al meglio da sovrapporre poi in editing alla ripresa frontale). cari saluti
