Hola Alistair!
Haha,I know EXACTLY what it's like to move other stuff and other motorcycles out of your way,BEFORE getting to the one Your going to ride that day!!! Lol. Great video and love all your numerous camera-angles!!! : >)
@alex b, that's a tricky one. I have put 30k mls on mine in the last 12yrs and the only bother I had was with one of the spark units which takes out two cylinders. This was very soon after I got the bike and was probably down to the bike sitting dormant for years. With a bit of standard servicing, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't get one for daily use but it would be a big step to abandon the Z900rs in favour of a much older bike. Best bet is to get a CBX and keep the Z900.... problem solved! Good luck with your choice.
@alex b , I wish you well. There's loads of good guys around to offer assistance should you require it. The CBX Enthusiasts club is a good place to start. I think it's only £12.50 to join and you will get any info you need. Big Nigel Sadler is the head honcho and a personal friend. Tell him I sent you!
@@AlistairCampbell1047cc yvw, come to Indonesia, there are so many cb community here, but we're not lucky enough to get this unit in our country, if you come you'll become the king of the road for sure 😁🙏👍

Glad to be of service Gordon. Just watched the video again myself and I'm already looking forward to next spring.
Great stuff Alistair! Lovely to see the CBX exorcised fully! Sounding and looking great - really appreciate the varied camera angles.
Thanks Chris, the number of times I had to stop and remount the camera was incredible. It's just as well I wasn't in a rush!
Looking forward to seeing the first ride of 2023 !

Whatta machine u lucky man! That rack, um sorry its a clothes horse.
Cheers John, I fitted the rack last year to go for a camping trip and haven't removed it yet. It'll be coming off soon.
never pump those Honda throttles prior to hitting the starter button, throttle only after it fires....I could smell your fuel from here.
European models doesn't have accelerator pump, that's the feature for US market.
