Sorry I can't put the time into researching this thoroughly, but it isn't that uncommon to have a game with no 360 flip.
One example would be BATB2 Round 1 Cory Kennedy VS Josh Kalis

Aight, lets start with the broken board shenanigans
This is the 5th time a board breaks in BATB
On a Double Flip in BATB1 Round 1 Paul Shier VS Clint Peterson
On a Switch 360 Flip in BATB3 Round 1 Cesar Fernandez VS Benny Fairfax
On a Nollie Bigspin Heelflip BATB7 Round 1 Cody Whitt VS Tom Asta
On a Fakie Hardflip BATB8 Round 1 Chris Cole VS Moose
Other than the first time it happened (Paul Shier won) every skater who has snapped his board has gone on to lose the game
(Cody Whitt, Cesar Fernandez, Chris Cole and Eric G.L.X)
    Now back to this game:
This marks the second game to ever end on a pressure flip (Mike Carrol VS Joey Brezinski BATB1 Round 2)
Filipe Mota missed a Nollie Bigspin, only other time the trick was missed was in BATB 8 Round 1 by Will Fyock VS Felipe Gustavo
This puts Nollie Bigspin at an overall success rate of 94,73% (36 out of 38)
19 out of 19 on offense (100% success rate)
17 out of 19 on defense (89,47% success rate)
    Eric GLX goes 24 of 31 for a 77,41 % success rate
    15 out of 17 on offense for a 88,24 % success rate
    9 out of 14 on defense for a 64,28 % success rate
Filipe Mota goes 25 of 30 for a 83,33% success rate
14 out of 15 on offense for a 93,33% success rate
11 out of 15 on defense for a 73,33% success rate

@@presscottfrost Filipe didn't do anything wrong. If you were in his shoes I'm sure you would've went for the throat too -- you're skating in the biggest contest of its kind on the _world,_ you're on T about to get *skunked,* scuffed your first offensive turn. luckily your opponent misses quick to put you back on offense, and you're able to go on a run racking up letters to tie it T to T. _You could_ bust out a super difficult banger that you're pretty consistent on, but has a higher chance of missing than most tricks, but if you do miss the game is very likely over and you lose. _Or_ you could do an easier trick that you have on lock, but a lot of skaters either don't have it in their bag, or they lack any sort of consistency, which gives you a much higher likelihood of winning and moving on -- I know which option I'd choose.
They might be having fun out there, and the vibe might be lighthearted, but in the end it's a contest and they're out to *win.* Sometimes it takes being cutthroat when you need to be.
