Great video! I just had my escooter stolen and wish I had these. I am buying air tags to help protect my scooters going ahead. One question, is there a particular proximity you have to be to the air tag for the device to pick up on it or can it track it anywhere like phones etc
the air tags uses the find my network so it uses peoples iphones to communicate with the server so as long as it is around iphones the the location is accurate be careful some real good thefts will know this and use it to their advantage i recommend using a gps tracker as they work stand alone
I’ve been doing this since the AirTags came out. I didn’t think it would become an official anti-theft method because some people thought it was ridiculous…
Cant remove the front cover for the emove cruiser For my AirTag placement can you please direct me on a how to video it seems like none of the Allen wrench work that was provided by Voro motors could you tell me the size of the front cover Allen wrench? I cannot find it on the screw catalog neither is it 5 MM or 3 MM?
Hey Jay, I answered your question in another comment, but just for visibility in case you hadn't seen it, it should be M4 on the sides, M5 in the front, and you can see our screw catalog for the Cruiser here: www.voromotors.com/pages/emove-cruiser-screw-catalog Hope this helps!
Can anyone let me know what Allen key size (5mm, 3mm etc)works for the E move cruiser front cover airtag installation because for some reason the allen key provided by voro motors came damaged.
Hey Jay, Thanks for commenting! We're sorry to hear your toolkit came damaged. If you could reach out to us at support@voromotors.com we'd be happy to help you further. However, to answer your question, for the front U-deck cover for the EMOVE Cruiser, the 2 screws on either side should be M4, and the screws in the front should be M5 in terms of measurement. We also have a screw catalog for the EMOVE Cruiser on our website here for your reference if you ever need to know the size of any other screws or bolts: www.voromotors.com/pages/emove-cruiser-screw-catalog Hope that helps! Feel free to reach back out if you need any further assistance.
@@SsShadowbaneSsS That is awesome Yeah I looked up the samsung smart tag it can also be found offline I was bummed when I put it in 3 months ago. Now I found out it can also do offline tracking! Wicked
Any theft prevention helps! Unfortunately now you’ve help show a thief almost all of the places to look for such devices! Not only that but the device has to be connected to WiFi in order to work!
Gotcha, thanks for the feedback. Our goal with this tutorial was to give scooter owners an idea of where to install trackers so they can't easily be removed. A thief would have to know scooters well enough and have tools to open the scooter and remove the tags on the fly, but we totally get what you're saying! Thanks for watching!
We used the AirTag in our demo, but you can do the same with a Tile or Samsung Smart Tag (and can install in the same locations). In our case, it's that a scooter can be lost in a sea of others at our headquarters -- but it's good to have a tracker installed if you frequently leave your scooter unattended (even if it's locked). Thanks for watching and for the feedback. www.voromotors.com/blogs/news/airtag-your-scooter
Are you selling air tags you buy from China for over double the price? Cuz thats all you do with the scooters you sell correct. You manufacture NOTHING. And folks. If you want this scooters range. Put a bunch of tiny specs with a decent sized battery. It is not anything special. It goes far because it gives you nothing. Save your money for a real scooter. This is a toy for your daughter. son will be mad. He will say I cant be caught dead on that wimpy scooter.

It's not a "hack". Properly using something as intended is just that, using it as your are suppose to. To use something as not intended is a "hack".
The FRO alone gets a thumbs up!!!!

I love android do you have an air tag for android ????
Isn't the range only 50 meters unobstructed?
Doesn’t matter as long as another iPhone picks it up it will notify you it’s last position

use airtags if you want to give anyone with an iphone your whereabouts....

Airtags do not have to be connected to wifi to work, they connect to any iPhone nearby via Bluetooth to update its location
iPhone ftw
I don't have an Apple phone
still no answer to the guy who asked for android users... 2yr and counting I guess.
Gee. Now a thief will have ideas where to look. No disrespect but, promoting the product is great but not places to hide them 🌻
