Jackie was tougher than a two dollar steak. You did not want to get on her bad side. How the WWE kept her from ripping Sable's arm off and beating her to death with it is beyond me. She was very pleasant when I met her but it is widely known in Southern wrestling circles that Jackie was not to be trifled with.

Ivory had once said that during a match Jackie is purposely stiff in the ring. I’ve also heard of a story in one of the smaller promotions of a supposed ring rat who tried to get into wrestling by sleeping her way through and Jackie was put in a match to beat the living snot out of her.
Besides Luna, Jackie was also a tough B. I’d hate to be that person to cross her lol

Jacqueline was easily among the top women workers of her generation and she had to work with women that were far inferior to her as wrestlers, but got pushed because of looks. I can see how a miscommunication in the ring could be taken as a slight to her. This is not Ivelisse no-selling offense, Nia Jax knocking girls out and breaking their nose or Tessa Blanchard being a toxic entity everywhere she sets foot.

That would require a few things. Like Stephanie McMahon doing more as a wrestler after winning the belt. As is Jacqueline dropped it to a second rate wrestler who never really amounted to anything in the ring. That could have been rehabilitated, she or Ivory could have been big baby faces during Lita's numerous injuries, but that would require either one of them becoming the heel to take the belt from Trish Status or taking the belt from the heel that took it from Trish Stratus, which no one was allowed to do until Stratus turned heel, which was just so Stratus could beat that face and fight Lita, who got injured again. If the Stratus turn didn't lead to a "new direction" of less wrestling, fewer wrestlers, more models, more jiggling because the second diva search got good ratings WWE mistakenly thought they could duplicate with a third and fourth. Jacqueline could have gone back to Japan/Puerto Rico/Mexico but she rolled the dice with TNA, who didn't pay as well as expected, charged other promoters fees for booking "their" talent and despite that cage match with Gail Kim, Jackie's feud was overshadowed by the much better booked program with Amazing/Awesome Kong. Fighting over a belt is better than "Well, we both managed James Storm once, lets fight".
Sometimes the best talent doesn't have the best foresight, or luck. Maybe she could have been more political, got chummy with trainees instead of beating the hell out of them. Used a new prospect's favor to worm her way into another TV run, but that wasn't her personality. She hit things and yelled at people. It didn't translate into a WWE baby face. As a heel Jazz was younger. Was 1995-2004 WWE going to have two prominent twofers of the same "type" in the same role? 86-94 WWF maybe. 2008+ WWE definitely, but it still would not be until 2009-10 that WWE really started caring about the quality of women's wrestlers on TV again, and 2015 until they started caring about quality matches. Sure, on merit as a wrestler, you'd think Madusa-Jacqueline-Ivory-Luna would be on top, giving way to Torrie-Molly-Jazz-Lita to Trish-Gail-Victoria etc. but what exactly about the landscape of wrestling between 1988 and 2008 said she'd be a big star?

@@msoileau83 That's not what someone is saying when they say 'my truth', and I think you know that already. But if you don't, I won't presume.
When someone says 'my truth', they mean they know what the actual genuine answer is but they reject it because they don't like it and replace it with something less authentic and more disingenuous. When they then say 'it's my truth' what they're trying to say is, 'I don't like things but if I call it a truth, you have no rights to challenge me.' It's a very immature and egocentric thing to say and everybody - *everybody* - I've ever heard use it in real life turns out to be toxic. Namely, people employ that sort of language to inform us that their opinion is all that matters and everybody else's is invalid.
I mean, in the real world, if you don't learn from others and work on your blind spots, you'll never make anything of yourself.
For example, Shelley manages to keep getting herself fired or released. She can blame Batista or whoever but if we keep hearing 'it was his fault, their fault, my truth says it's anybody else's fault' what should we think? I don't know her in real life but how she presents her own story seems to be in total support of the point I've just made.

The scoop slam thing was fine because she went for the apron right after. I do fully believe the shoot guillotine cause you hear her say “Jackie!” really loud a few times before she lets go, and she had blood at the corner of her mouth.

Ivory seemed less than complementary about her, being dropped on her head/neck, not offering feedback or being receptive to their matches, it was just the same matches after matches it seems... I'm curious if Jacqueline whipping Salinas after was part of the show or Jacqueline just doing it anyway. but that's BS if the agents said the match was horrible, that was a good match and the person who should be getting yelled at was Jacqueline for being so unprofessional.
