Sandow as Miz’s double was excellent. After that, he should’ve been given way more trust from the office. I remember watching Nova/Simon Dean’s rfvideo shoot where he talked about all the years Sandow grinded down in Puerto Rico and in developmental; he put so much fucking work in that I cannot help but think that he’s a prime example of WWE absolutely doing someone dirty.

I always felt bad for those like EC3, Sandow, and a number of others who never were allowed to rise to the top. They had all the talent in the world and for one reason or another it was decided they would not be given the ball to really run with it.

My favorite Shelly match was a intergender tag match in OVW. Beth Shelly and Aaron vs Matt Cappotelli Christy Hemme. Crowd was so lit. Christy comes out to Pour Some Sugar On Me dances a good amount in the entrance making way for Matt. What a great match and moment lots of fun wrestling

Sandow did great as Mizdow, but anyone thinking he should have been a main-event star is delusional. Good guy to have on the undercard, but definitely not top guy material. Just look what he did with Impact and the NWA since then, was he put in a top guy position by these promotions? Not at all, so there's your answer.

I listen to Jim on and off, find agreement with a good bit (not everything) of his opinions regarding wrestling but his take(s) relating to women in the biz are usually a bit… less than objective.
I agree with Jim quite a bit but don't care for him personally. I'm not sure exactly what his take is on women's wrestling. His take seems to be the health of the sport really rests with the male performers and the women are kind of secondary, that's what I walk away with anyways. It's a fair analysis, probably true in his era. On the other hand, I've never heard him say this straight up.
