Intro
What’s up how’s it going and welcome back to the first proper episode of Dave in Deutschland Häschtäg Das Comeback!
So to kick the renewal of the series back off, I’m going to be teaching you the rules to the German drinking game known as Flugeyball.
There are a few regional alterations to the name of this game, so just be wary of that, but the rules are pretty similar
So what you’ll need.
Some form of bottled beverage, preferably alcoholic
One bottle needs to be emptied before beginning so let me just see to that first, Prost!
I probably shouldn’t be doing this with the plan to be working later on but ho hum!
All else is one tennis ball, some mates and you’re set!
Oh and it’s best to play this game outside by the way or somewhere where you’ve got a bit of room.
So the two teams stand in a line facing each other and in the middle goes the emptied bottle.
The starting team takes the tennis ball and attempts to knock the empty bottle over by throwing it from where they’re standing.
If they miss, it’s the other teams turn.
However, it they hit it and it gets knocked over, they pick up their beverage and begin to drink as fast as they can.
The team stop drinking once the tennis ball has been retrieved and the bottle has been returned to its upright position by the other team!
This continues back and forth until one team has completely finished all of its drinks, who are then declared the winners!
So pretty simple really, a good load of fun and a nice way to get just a little bit beschwipst!
