今回使用している材(トガの乾燥材)は油分が少なく加工しにくいので油分の代わりに水分を足しています。

杉(乾燥材)の白太は濡らすと効果ありますよ。
一度試して感覚的に良い具合なら濡らせばいいという感じ。
ちなみに木口仕上げでも効果的ですよ。
