Huh, reading vlogs are really nice. I wish I had a friend I could do this back and forth with. I loved how you highlighted and chatted about things that stood out to you. Bride seemed cringy as hell to me, I'm not a werewolf romance person 😄 all its tropes seem awfully creepy, and especially if it's coupled with vampires. But I want to try Emily Henry and maybe I'll try this one.

Lolol biggest plot twist of the video was me assuming you were talking about Bride in the preview clip where you said you had to read a sex scene three times (cough mechanics cough) but no! It was EH delivering the bewildering steamy scene. I have the book on hold - always enjoy both authors’ books but now I’m extra curious about Funny Story 😂

I loved Bride, it was romantic and funny, and I don't do rom coms any more, so I haven't tried any of Ali's STEMcoms, and I don't think I would, but I really enjoyed this.

I'd love to hear your opinions on the book "Morbidly Yours" it's a rom com story about a widowed American woman who moves to Ireland for work and a fresh start, and a sweet solitary mortician who is at risk of losing his family owned mortuary business if he doesn't prove he's capable of finding a wife. It's on KU and super cute and light hearted. Was one of my top 5 favorite reads of 2023
