I had a friend a long while ago who loved the Arkham series and legit has 100% all of them multiple times, and I can say for a fact he’s 100% Arkham city more than twice. Dude was a 100%’er champ in my eyes.
I recently earned this myself and it was so fun despite feeling like torture at some points when completing the riddlers revenge challenges 😅 I can say it tested my patience

@@quaranfree6584I’m not him but I platinumed all games and City is definitely the hardest (If you put Origins aside), then Knight and Asylum is the easiest. It took me 56 hours to platinum City, 50 ish to platinum Knight, and 17 hours to platinum Asylum.
as a Steam achievement collector I have to say I’m struggling here alot I have to get the dlc medals as well so I got to get all medals achievements for catwomen,robin,nightwing
I still remember waiting for this game to release and watching the trailers like crazy. Needless to say it did not disappoint. I've played it countless times and it's still one of my favourite games of all time. I replayed the game a couple years ago and only then realized the most op combo to clear a room. Get the slow mo combo going, exp gel the floor, get the combo again and then multi takedown. That clears any room in like 5 to 10 seconds. Not sure how well known it is, I just felt stupid how long it took me to find it... lol
I don't think the riddler challenges playing as alternate characters counts towards the platinum, but they are so, so brutal in some cases. the predator map in the train station as nightwing was an absolute nightmare. I can't say I recommend doing them... but I think it would make for a great stream/video
With Batman being my favorite DC hero I played all the Arkham games, multiple times even and I really enjoyed them, I only played enough to get maybe half of the achievements with my fair share of rages as well but I fondly remember getting this the Christmas of that year.

I left the Arkham City last, but I recently completed Arkham Knight, and I can tell its gonna be hard time. Some of the batmobile challenges are brutal.
I promise you it's not bad. Only difficult trophy for that game is getting the 5 perfect shots in a row without taking damage. Other than that all combat, traversals and everything else gonna be easy and you can do in less than 10 min
The challenges weren't so bad (you only need 69 "medals" so it's instantly better than AC), and the batmobile races are ok. The hardest are for sure "The Chill in the Air" and "The Curtain Falls"
HIGHLY SKILL BASED. For a average gamer, 6/10-7/10. For someone who is very skilled at the combat stuff then 3/10-4/10.. as even the best player would get annoyed at the final few stealth bits, as it does feel luck based on some runs.
The dlc challenge maps for the other characters is one of the hardest challenges i ever done n a game. But that’s what cemented this series for me as one the most enjoyable games to even play in my opinion!
I’ve completed Batman Arkham knight 240% 4 times now, and I’d say I’m pretty good at hand to hand combat, but the challenges are still brutal sometimes. It’s so annoying to keep perfect free flow especially with the Arkham knight “combat experts” (guys with swords) because you can’t tell when they’re gonna slash or strike
I’m currently going for this platinum and I finished all the ranked challenges and this may sound shocking, this may be a bad take, but I found myself raging more at the Wayne ar challenge side missions, now I’m sure that will change when I go for the campaign and miscellaneous combat trophies 😢
WB closed servers for PC version of Arkham Origins couple of years ago and 100% wasn't achievable. And that's why I love PC gaming - MODS. Some modders restored multiplayer to this game and now you can achieve 100% with random people from Discord.
Yes Achievements are a "OPTIONAL" thing to go for. BUT Origins is why I champion AGAINST Multiplayer Achievements. Cause either A)They make people play the multiplayer in absurd unusual ways which makes it hell for anyone who DOES enjoy the multiplayer and B) If the servers are down or when they permanently go down it makes it impossible to 100% a games Achievements. Why couldnt they just section off MP achievements and simply have them NOT count for a games 100%. Then again there are many perfectionists, like myself, that even IF that was the case it would still bug me as the achievement is still there in the list, I just cant get it now. So really MP Achievements need to be removed from every game with them and never added to any MP.

Arkham origins is one of my favorites. I’m sad as well that it’s an unobtainable one. Hope one day the game gets a remaster or something. Also I’m still watching the video so I’m not sure if you realized the suit is slightly different from asylum. The cape has a slightly different color I believe, and the emblem has changed. In the original game the difference is a lot more noticeable as the cape and mask is a blue color.

Arkham Asylum was my first ever platinum and Arkham City is up there with a few of my favourite games of all time. I can get about 70% of the riddler trophies from memory alone. The challenge rooms were actually enjoyable for me. Certainly the combat ones. I think that the intricate web of riddler trophies that reveal all sorts of history from Batmans past is some of the best open world design I've experienced. I couldn't disagree with you more.
even though origins can't be platinumed anymore, I encourage you to obtain all the trophies/achievements (depending whether you play ps or steam) that aren't tied to multiplayer. You definitely won't hate the game by the end of it....

His little tip for the Combat challenges. If you spam that swarm you get a massive combo boost and it does almost no damage so you can just keep doing it. It’s 25 point multiplier but it’s multiplied by every enemy affected by the swarm so the points just skyrocket really fast if you just spam it. It’s why do you move wasn’t brought in Arkham knight.
The other month I managed to 100% the trophy list and god help you if u decide to try it the platinum itself is hard can’t imagine doing the catwomen maps again

Just Completed the Batman Riddler Challengers, For those who need help in Combat just remember to use your Specials on Multiples of Enemies at once. You will get more points that way.

Yo I don’t get it why there is nobody talking about jokers carnival?! Did you do it, you say at 17:32 that your last challenge is top of the world and you had 69/93. Did you do carnivals joker, is it mandatory for platinum? This is the challenge that made me rage quit. For all 3 medals you need a 1 000 000 points, and it resets when you bank points but restarts the levels. I can get free flow combo to 180 plus often but level 6 when titan comes in I always get hit, need help with that, got 720 000points, and one time I got to 211 combo points without banking and got hit and so you lose your opportunity to bank time and I was at 250 000 point in that instance. And I’m playing on hard. Need to know do you need all 3 medals at jokers carnival for platinum? I got on that map 92/93, If yes I need help, watched tutorials but don’t work for me, game seems to bug, once I go stun the titan often breaks the combo and easily get hit and they all come running I jump over when I see someone trying to hit and often when trying to stun back again controls sucks never goes where I want it to go, and also tried with 2 new controllers

You think doing all those challenges with Batman was a pain? Try doing them with 3 OTHER CHARACTERS! The requirements for all achievements on the Steam version of Arkham City Is completing the challenges with Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing!
Yeah they really took the piss with the puzzles and Riddler trophies, was the biggest reasons why I never really considered the plat, just so fucking asinine along with the extended challenges
Shame that arkham origins is unobtainable. One of the best storys i have ever played. I am currently doing my last trophy for MW2 Remastered's platinum, this video is currently my entertainment while getting it. Can't wait for the streams
All that to get a trophy named Platinum 😂 I really hate these uninspired trophy names. You’re crazy man, these games that has these recycled trophy lists, I only plat one of them. Like Resident Evil where every trophy list there’s a speed run, every Uncharted there’s a headshot 100 guys while you fucking fly and Batman games that has these ridiculous battle arenas trophies. I only got the plat for Arkham Knight, it was a nightmare. One of my most difficult ones. Good luck. (At least for Arkham Night the plat calls I AM BATMAN. It's just im too lazy and or sick of Catwoman cheap deaths on campaign predator maps by being spotted easily and dying in like 2 or 3 shots for the sake of medals lol and then i got to suffer Robin and Nightwing's challenge maps next ahhhhhh!! (On the bright side atleast it's 60fps on Xbox one X Riddler's Revenge). Also the Riddler Trophies wasn't a problem it's these challenges that stand in my way.
Nah PlayStation has it easy, brutal is being on Xbox or Steam and there being no platinum, so having go for 100% instead. Meaning having to do the DLC, which consist of having to do all the challenges 4x for Batman, Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing.
Just bought the first three with all dlc for 10 euro in a sale last month. So 3.30 per full game, i still need to play them ^^. My backlog grows by the day >.> Edit: seems you have a terminal case of stick drift… rip controller..
One thing I always hate in the Arkham series, is when the combat doesn't register your commands properly. For example, in Arkham Knight, whenever I'm trying to attack a regular enemy, the game makes me attack a brute or electric thug, thus hurting me and ruining my combo. Even the predator mission had me die to some BS like a thug spotting me, or missing an enemy.
As far as I'm aware, you can install a mod to play the Origins Multiplayer again on PC, not sure if it would disable achievements though. You could technically get all the available achievements in the game and maybe use a 100% save file to get the platinum? Not sure.
That DLC will put you through the ringer lol. Catwoman is so unequipped for the Challenge maps. The sheer amount of "content" having to be completed for the measly 6 DLC trophies is ridiculous too.
Oh my god yes, the ground finishers not registering during the f******************* campaigns is so annoying. One of the few non fluid and unreliable aspects of the game. It also made perfect freeflow 2.0 a nightmare.
Please try and 100% Arkham Knight. I’ve just finished doing it and it is a really tough grind but think it would make for a banger of a video with all the DLC it has

I gave up on the platinum in Arkham series after the hell i got in Arkham asylum especially the combat challenges that was in march no and iam taking my way through the entire Arkham series and I got the platinum of Arkham Knight i said to my self nothing is impossible and i got back to Arkham city and i have only one trophy standing in the way new game+ then after that it will be Arkham asylum my old nemisis😂. Just remember guys nothing is impossible you can do anything if you just put your mind into it❤

DLC is far more brutal than the main game the dlc character predator missions and campaigns are absolutely brutal I have over 150 hours and still have the last campaign with nightwing and can’t be motivated to finish it
The biggest crime in all Arkham games I found was they kept stringing us along until Arkham knight to beat the shit out of riddler like fs if we have the willpower to make time to get every single riddler trophy complete all riddles and complete all riddler challenge maps with full baterangs just let us beat the shit out of him 😂 nope only Arkham knight they finally let us have at it 😂

I had multiple saves of playthroughs with this game with different achievements but I couldn’t get the platinum cause I messed up they all had to be in the same save.

Got it pretty efficiently back in the day. Then again, I was unreasonably OBSESSED with the game.
If only the PS4 version didn't had so much input lag. But luckily the 1.0 version on disc is 60 fps, which makes it much more playable.

Just Completed the Batman Riddler Challengers, For those who need help in Combat just remember to use your Specials on Multiples of Enemies at once. You will get more points that way.
A while back I was going for this plat since I ad gotten the Arkham knight and asylum plats but doing the riddlers revenge was bit much for me, but seeing this video kinda motivated me to go back 😅😅
Yo I don’t get it why there is nobody talking about jokers carnival?! Did you do it, you say at 17:32 that your last challenge is top of the world and you had 69/93. Did you do carnivals joker, is it mandatory for platinum?
This is the challenge that made me rage quit. For all 3 medals you need a 1 000 000 points, and it resets when you bank points but restarts the levels.
I can get free flow combo to 180 plus often but level 6 when titan comes in I always get hit, need help with that, got 720 000points, and one time I got to 211 combo points without banking and got hit and so you lose your opportunity to bank time and I was at 250 000 point in that instance. And I’m playing on hard.
Need to know do you need all 3 medals at jokers carnival for platinum? I got on that map 92/93, If yes I need help, watched tutorials but don’t work for me, game seems to bug, once I go stun the titan often breaks the combo and easily get hit and they all come running I jump over when I see someone trying to hit and often when trying to stun back again controls sucks never goes where I want it to go, and also tried with 2 new controllers

Yeah they really took the piss with the puzzles and Riddler trophies, was the biggest reasons why I never really considered the plat, just so fucking asinine along with the extended challenges

Shame that arkham origins is unobtainable. One of the best storys i have ever played. I am currently doing my last trophy for MW2 Remastered's platinum, this video is currently my entertainment while getting it. Can't wait for the streams

You’re crazy man, these games that has these recycled trophy lists, I only plat one of them. Like Resident Evil where every trophy list there’s a speed run, every Uncharted there’s a headshot 100 guys while you fucking fly and Batman games that has these ridiculous battle arenas trophies. I only got the plat for Arkham Knight, it was a nightmare. One of my most difficult ones. Good luck.

It's just im too lazy and or sick of Catwoman cheap deaths on campaign predator maps by being spotted easily and dying in like 2 or 3 shots for the sake of medals lol and then i got to suffer Robin and Nightwing's challenge maps next ahhhhhh!! (On the bright side atleast it's 60fps on Xbox one X Riddler's Revenge). Also the Riddler Trophies wasn't a problem it's these challenges that stand in my way.
Nah PlayStation has it easy, brutal is being on Xbox or Steam and there being no platinum, so having go for 100% instead.
Meaning having to do the DLC, which consist of having to do all the challenges 4x for Batman, Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing.

Just bought the first three with all dlc for 10 euro in a sale last month. So 3.30 per full game, i still need to play them ^^. My backlog grows by the day >.>

One thing I always hate in the Arkham series, is when the combat doesn't register your commands properly.
For example, in Arkham Knight, whenever I'm trying to attack a regular enemy, the game makes me attack a brute or electric thug, thus hurting me and ruining my combo.
Even the predator mission had me die to some BS like a thug spotting me, or missing an enemy.
I finally completed this for the first time after playing the game since it came out. I’ll finish knight, but sadly can’t do origins
As far as I'm aware, you can install a mod to play the Origins Multiplayer again on PC, not sure if it would disable achievements though. You could technically get all the available achievements in the game and maybe use a 100% save file to get the platinum? Not sure.
That DLC will put you through the ringer lol. Catwoman is so unequipped for the Challenge maps.
The sheer amount of "content" having to be completed for the measly 6 DLC trophies is ridiculous too.
Oh my god yes, the ground finishers not registering during the f******************* campaigns is so annoying. One of the few non fluid and unreliable aspects of the game. It also made perfect freeflow 2.0 a nightmare.
400 Riddler Trophies is fucking insane and ridiculous, Knight doesn’t even have that much and it’s a bigger map 😂😂😂

I gave up on the platinum in Arkham series after the hell i got in Arkham asylum especially the combat challenges that was in march no and iam taking my way through the entire Arkham series and I got the platinum of Arkham Knight i said to my self nothing is impossible and i got back to Arkham city and i have only one trophy standing in the way new game+ then after that it will be Arkham asylum my old nemisis😂.
Just remember guys nothing is impossible you can do anything if you just put your mind into it❤

DLC is far more brutal than the main game the dlc character predator missions and campaigns are absolutely brutal I have over 150 hours and still have the last campaign with nightwing and can’t be motivated to finish it

The biggest crime in all Arkham games I found was they kept stringing us along until Arkham knight to beat the shit out of riddler like fs if we have the willpower to make time to get every single riddler trophy complete all riddles and complete all riddler challenge maps with full baterangs just let us beat the shit out of him 😂 nope only Arkham knight they finally let us have at it 😂

Spiderman 2 controls have killed my Arkham play atm. Batman is slow and sluggish now, and I have to re adapt.
Origins is brutal, because matchmaking system is broken! and very hard to get multiplayer trophies.
Ngl i had 100% for batman Arkham asylum and city everything done but then my pc had a problem and every game i ever played there save file was deleted 😭
The only platinum I’ve ever gone for was hogwarts and I got the last page bug which has never gotten fixed so I’m just one away and forever will be
I'm doing this right now but I had to switch PS3's and I could not get my saves working I don't even know how I got some of these riddled trophies last time
I tried to do it but because I destroyed all the cameras before scanning they're location a bug ended me I'm gonna kill myself oh plus I tried it 4 years ago and don't have the motivation to go back😊
Your lucky you're on PlayStation. On PC to get all achievements I had to do that with every character was a right ball ache
I got the platinum for Arkham asylum last year and I’ve been playing Arkham city here and there but it is going to be a real grind a challenge to actually get it
I had multiple saves of playthroughs with this game with different achievements but I couldn’t get the platinum cause I messed up they all had to be in the same save.
Fighting games are the only ones i rage on. Like mortal Kombat and injustice ill just go through controllers like crazy
As someone who has the platinum trophy on every Arkham game and have multiple 100% files on every single one (besides origins since online screwed me), City’s is the hardest.

I’ve done all three except origins since it wasn’t on newer gen consoles but I did play it pc, great series, not super hard plats imo
I got platinum on Asylum on my old user and on City on the new one. When I look at the trophies then yeah some of them is a little tough yeah, even if I didnt recall it

Batman arkham origins is very a underrated game it was my first ever game I finished its young batman and rage that makes me like it more then most games
