agreed.. literally makes no sense, and tbh most "ultra marathons" like the name suggests are either 50km, 10km or 161km, I have never seen a 960km ultra marathon.. just silly
Man, I hate glitched collectibles (connected to trophies/achievements) and SUPER GRINDY trophies/achievements but it's such a relief when they finally unlock.

I have a game suggestion for you, I did it for my 75th platinum, the first ever Prototype I went through an ordeal with that. It is rough. But I believe that you'll be able to do it.

Congratz on making it through that. I am not sure whether you've ever had any interest in the Final Fantasy games but if you do/did there is a great package on PSN that includes Final Fantasy 1 up untill 6, it is the Pixel Remaster bundle and the platinums are easy (each game has it's own platinum) and it is honestly a great way to either experience these games for the first time or to relive childhood memories.
I'm ashamed to admit it but I've played the game so much that I got the 960km trophy naturally 😂😂

@itsstuddy ya I absolutely loved the first game and there are definitely aspects that dl1 does better but dl2 in my opinion is just so much more fun. I love even just running around and parkouring around zombies. Respect though for suffering through the platinum trophy lmao

Oh man this brings back bad vibes!🤣I was lucky, there was only one story related trophy that didn't pop. For me that last collectible on the crate was useless too, and had to go to the fisheye to get it. Baffled that 1,5yrs later that still isn't fixed! The ultramarathon was indeed a nightmare and completely out of context with the game. Like you said 500km would have still been teadius AF, but makes more sense. That's the only trophy I have ever rubberbanded. I was just watching movies/TV shows/cleaning my apartment and stuff like that, while my controller was doing the work🤣 trophies like that really ruin the plat experience tho. Well done on suffering trough that, and congrats on the plat✌🏾🦖

You should definitely platinum days gone. In my opinion it’s definitely a very underrated game and is very enjoyable once you get the mechanics and how to play the game

I recommend super meat boy it's a pretty easy fun platnium and it definitely won't take years off your life

I still to this day have no clue how it happened but I didn’t have to do the ultramarathon trophy I just logged on and it popped.
Its slowly but surely getting better, wont be better than the first in some aspects but its getting there. Also love the story and lore, the fact there are no gunsmiths anymore makes sense since NO ONE can make a gun and the government was dumb enough to take everyones guns. Its quite cool because in many zombie games you go guns blazing but this makes you get creative.
its so irritating when story trophies dont work at all, I'm missing loads of story trophies in jedi survivor because of that including the one for finishing the game which is so annoying

I hate games that have trophies that can’t be obtained organically, thankfully not played loads like that but you know like this ultramarathon one where even after doing all the games content you will still need hours and hours of just (literal) running around
Literally working on this one right now, I have 3 trophies remaining before my platinum, and I set my own goal to have thus games plat be my 9000th trophy, so can't get a single trophy in anything else til this is finished and I despise the 3 remaining
Yo u should platinum resident evil 4 remake amazing masterpiece game and the platinum is quite fun a little bit tricky when doing the hardest difficulty for the first time but u don't need to do it for the platinum but if u do complete it within 5 hours and 30 mins with only saving 15 times u unlock cat ears that allows you to get infinite ammo and absolutely smash through the platinum and enjoy it at the same time definitely a good game to platinum if u want to go for it❤

Cyberpunk was a fun platinum, buying all cars is a bit annoying but other than that I enjoyed that one

I remember having to play the game 3 times because a certain side mission would NOT spawn and I also had a problem with finding one last collectible because it just didn’t spawn 😭
I have been going for this game for the past few weeks and have really been enjoying the gameplay. Story was a bit shit, but it happens. I think you should do the DLC for this one to make sure you get that full 100%! Also, for anyone playing on PC, this game sucks absolute shite and doesn't understand how to correctly allocate VRAM and my FPS is stuck at 60 regardless of the graphics settings even with a 7900 XTX so you may need to download a programme to restart your drivers after you are finished playing the game. Anyway, keep it up and looking forwards to the next game

yeah its a nightmare.. now I saw people doing the rubberband technique and leaving it overnight.. but I also saw the game could randomly pause if you done it, and I thought thats no fun for the video so I can it properly.. despite really wanting there to be a AFK way lmao
Currently working for the Ultramarathon Trophy and honestly I found it much easier to run the walkway next to the Wharf PK Boat and do that for awhile. It’s about 320m and you’ll roughly get about 1Km per 3 runs and within an hour you’d get about 30Km each time and they’ve nerfed the endless running ability so you have to switch between regular running and boost running or else you’ll run out of stamina, and I don’t want to leave my console running for 6-7 hours to only get 30Km in like I did last week. It’s better off to just grind it rather than rubber band it imo

This is one of the games that i hate the most. I’ve played on PS4 when it came out and it was worse than Cyberpunk. Then months later I tried the trophies and 300 hours later I still didn’t got the Ultramarathon one, it says I have 200 thousand kilometers still. How the fuck do I still have only 200? After 300 hours. I guess it glitched when I started NG+ or I don’t know, for every patch, there’s another 50 different bugs to this game, even to this day it’s not playable on ps4.
So I got the PS5 and when I found out there’s no cross save, I just wanted to swallow the controller, holy FUUUUCK. 300 hours for nothing, I just needed that one trophy for the plat, so I needed to start from zero on the PS5 if I wanted the plat. I didn’t, I just played through that horrible trash story again doing some different choices that don’t mean shit.
I made peace with it and said fuck it, I’m gonna count as a platinum.

Oh boy, I am not looking forward to platinuming this as much as I used to. I personally think I'll enjoy the gameplay up until I need to grind the Ultramarathon trophy out. But hey, if I was able to grind my way towards getting the Cat Call trophy in Injustice 2, I should be able to grind my way to this.

This platinum is still not done for me, I was doing collectibles and for some reason one failed to spawn in when it said it would, so I ended one short. I am currently finding the willpower to try again...

I remember going for this game when it first came out. Absolutely loved it and the story and was on pace to be with some of the first people in the world to get the platinum until I had a story trophy glitch out. Never got the trophy for defending the fish bowl which kept me from getting the platinum. So many bugs were in this game that kept it from being one of the best games of the year.

I own the first Dying Light, and have only ever played it for a couple hours but never got into it. I plan on going back to it someday.

The first one is bloody incredible! Just give it a few hours to get into it, it’s bloody amazing but yeah don’t rush to do the 2nd one, it’s far improved but still nowhere near as good as the first one!

I honestly think Sony/Microsoft should punish developers who put pointless and completely unreasonable trophies in games. I mean why does the developer want to disrespect the player in this way? It’s not skill based, it’s not proving anything it’s just pathetic on the part of the developer.
I agree, I would rather a skill based trophy, like "get gold in every challenge" like yeah that might take a while but least I can get better and play the content in the game.. instead of running around for 20-30 hours

I haven't platinumed this game but I always have a lot of fun playing it, the story while tropey and a bit generic at times was still good in my opinion with a few emotional beats that actually did hit home with me.
Can't speak a lot as too the trophy but I'm about 68% towards completetion and most of those were story quests, side quests and combat and parkour related tropies

Great content as per usual, but to throw in an honest opinion, I'm not really a fan of the intermission things you edit in rather than just talking over the gameplay. I just think it seemed a tad unnecessary.
I have stopped that now, it’s much smoother in my newer videos, I done at the start and began to realise I hate that style too.. so it’s much better in my last 2/3 videos

ngl the last trophy is silly but you did a lot of this to yourself buy only using fast travels while cleaning up like bro you have to run across the map multiple times which would have saved you some time plus why not just running the corses to do some parkour at least instead of running in circles for hours
1st playthrough I used fast travel because I was just enjoying the game.. back in 2022.
2nd playthrough I never used fast travel hence why I didnt unlock any extra.
- and if you do the path of collectibles, 75-80% of the collectible getting is climbing, so running to each one works out to be a waste of time.
and if I had run a course, I would of run the risk of zombies grabbing me or having to jump over things, all of which dont count as "travel" and would have increased my time taken, other than a AFK strategy I done it the most effective way. trust me.

Amazing video dude! I still need to platinum this game (I want to die) did the same thing as you. Played it on release date, finshed the story and didn't play it after because it was super buggy (played it on the PS4). I still gotta play NG+ because I missed some missable Trophies which is really annoying so that sucks, then I gotta do the 960km trophy, FML! That's gonna be one of the worst Trophies I'm ever gonna earn for sure
