Joni’s is impact on my life from the age of 14 has been so huge. Through her ministry I learnt grace through difficulties. Today I am 56 and I still cannot skip any video, short & interview that comes onto my algorithm. I am still so inspired by her and I know that there will be a day when the Lord shows Joni the impact she has on peoples lives . I will be in the crowd , so grateful for her and ministry.❤
Joni’s trials are some of the realist, darkest, most despairing that I can imagine. I remember an anti-drunk driving poster in high school that showed a picture of a wheelchair and said, “If you think 4 hours of English is too long, imagine 50 years in this.” And maybe there are some people who break their necks and are happy to not have to do anything...but look at how driven Joni naturally is! What a struggle to have such a zest for life, with so many plans, and then you’re just laid up....completely still, not capable of even feeding yourself. How fortunate for us that when God lit the candle of her soul, she didn’t hide it under a bushel, but continues to share her testimony of suffering and her hope in Christ! She has completely changed the way I understand Gods way of using the path of suffering for His children. I can see God continuing to using her videos 1,000 years from now to be an encouragement to His people and bring others to Christ.
September 1980 I received the gift of the Holy Spirit whilst serving in the military 3000km from home and my first thoughts was of mom and dad praying at night before tucking in.
I just think how Joni actually played herself in a movie about her accident. Yeah she is strong but I bet she’d give all glory to God. Love you Joni. 💞
Joni. No words are enough to say what you have been through and held God so high in your life. God touched you so deeply. Praise God. God bless you and your family and ministries.
God bless you! I probably still have one of drawings from when I was a teen. Befoe i became a Christian. I have always watched for you. You are so faithful to our Lord. I'm 59 now. Love you Joni. Thanks for your witness!
I love that last sentence Joni says. Joni, you are such an inspiration with all the words of wisdom you give.Yes,"what is oftimes our bitter trials, are oftimes blessings in disguise".And now you are in your 70's!😇 What a testimony...and I am sure, what a journey. May God continue to richly bless you, your husband and "Joni and friends".🙏

I get such inspiration from your talks and writings and paintings and ministry- all a great testimony that we can do all things through Christ who Strengthens us! Praise the Lord for your life and testimony! You spur me on! 😊
Thank you Joni and Friend for sharing the story of your life and the greatest Love that you receieved from God. God use you to open our eyes heart and come to Jesus because He loves us so much. Yes sometimes we can't understan what happened in our lives But God gives his Only beloved begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us all He gives us life and salvation. All have reason. He is Amazing God! we can see if we open our heart and eyes. How great is our God He never leave us He give us life and that's a great gift to each one of us. Thanks Joni and Friends.
I thought she was going to quote the Louisa May Alcott-Im not afraid of storm's for I am learning how to sail my ship,or the one JFK kept on his desk- O'God,Thy Sea is so Great and my boat is so small,I have never heard the one she quoted,I like that one too.
Hi Joni ... I am a fairly newbie at being disabled. I noticed how the way this world is changing and taking a turn for the worst. And there's hardly no compassion any more. I wear white custom made AFO's on both feet because I have a bi-lateral foot drop caused from a chemotherapy administered to me 5 years ago. Alot more things happened to me than just the foot drops, but I want to keep it as short and sweet as possible. I keep wondering why many people would think I'd ever want to "fake" my disabilities. I keep on getting accused of it so many times. And I get dirty looks when I pass by them.....? It's MEAN!
Dona 4 him I am soo sorry you've had to deal with that. Praise God that in this sinful and often cruel world we can still see His love and kindness through women like Joni. So that we are not concerned with what was what others think or say about us but what God calls us....and that's -'HIS'. use your story to bring Him glory and you will find true joy and purpose, I promise. God BLESS you beloved .
Dona, I am relatively new to disability...to survive, I have quickly learned that who I am is not contained in the physical. God is with me every moment and I'm learning to let Him deal with the cruelty and ignorance of people.
I have a rare disability that is not visible, and I get accused of faking often. Before I was saved, I couldn’t handle the constant rejection. But now, the words of Christ get me through everything, glory to God! While you are praying, think of the people who accuse you were faking your disability, and start saying “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” The more you do this, the easier it gets, and the more you will realize that they really don’t know what they are doing, and they need Christ desperately. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” Colossians 3:16 God bless you sister!
Jesus said, "My words are Spirit and Life." The Breath of Life. Those stories that were before Him were billows of fresh air that pushes our sails. I imagine from Adam, God's words were CPR to Israel in the time of Christ. People were dying, sick, maimed, and were suffered retardation. Doubt was there along with the devil snuffing out the life of God, but when Jesus arrived, it was life and power that set upon them. I love when Jesus said "Receive the Spirit" and breathe on them. People ought to know the COVID19 was then too, and the faith to breathe in and know God was revived in them.
