I will save the cool stories when we meet in person one day my brother. Retiring in Boracay in 2011 was perfect for my transition to retired life. Slowing down in retirement is not easy after working so hard so many years.

Ginno ..have you tried before to take "Bubble-bee" to Boracay for your family to ride around on while there? My guess is a ferry for an extra fee can take your bike and sidecar, but it may not be worth it. Stay blessed friends
We would need a permit from the mayor's office to bring a motor vehicle into Boracay. They limit the number of motor vehicles in Boracay; they prefer electric vehicles. We walk for most of our time in Boracay. We only catch public transportation from the port to our hotel. There are sidewalks now in Boracay; you can walk everywhere now. Stay blessed my friend.

Cost is 2,000 pesos ($34) a night. They allow us to have Chloe, our dog, at Amigos Hotel. Very few hotels will allow you to have your dog in your hotel room.
One of our favorite hotel in Boracay is Piccolo Hotel also in station 2 (near D Mall). Reasonably priced, two indoor swimming pool, and free breakfast (order from their menu) with room stay. Here's the link to our Piccolo Hotel video:

Thank you my friend. Yes; Visa credit card is accepted at most stores at the malls in Iloilo City. In the provinces, less businesses accept Visa credit card.

I shot the video on a Tuesday. White Beach is not crowded in the mornings and early afternoons. It gets packed during sunset because everyone comes out for sunset; tourists and local residents. It's called the golden hour in Boracay.
