@freshjive855 It´s only the exhaust, nothing else. all stock. But you have to be careful, in germany eisenmann has 3 different sound variants. this is stage 2, stage 3 is too loud and too throaty and does not fit the 540i. I had a lot of fun with the exhaust, no drone, just pure BMW V8 Sound. :)
hey love the sound... i really really liked this car until i drove it, 2000 silver 540i with m pack.... it did drive as hard as i thought it would .. ir eally had to build up revs to get any power... i compared this car to my dad's a lincoln LS V8.. i realize that this car has mnore low end than the BMW but i hate to say it but i like the Lincoln more .. and i was very dissapointed that the 540 didnt win me over

Certainly my favorite 540 exhaust tone. Most of the ones here on youtube sound all tinny and have all the rice boys crying "I LOVE IT" This is how its supposed to sound, sporty. Not like your entire exhaust system is rattling off.
We had 3 options here at Germany, normal, sport, race.. this was sport.. IMHO the race sound to throaty for a limousine... 2 x 76mm, i like it original ;) Nothing else did, all stock. Car is sold.. :(
@carlman058 Hi, nie Probleme gehabt da eingetragen und der Sound war sehr angenehm und nicht auffällig. Aber die 4 Rohr Version? Bist dir da sicher? Ich persönlich finde die schrecklich, solang es kein originaler M5 ist. Überleg dir das nochmal, kommt meines Erachtens arg prollig und sieht auch etwas bescheiden aus finde ich mit der Rohrverbindung nach rechts, du hast ja keine zwei Töpfe.
@carlman058 Ja ganz sicher, mir wurde das damals so erklärt: Stage 1 = Eisenmann mit fast original Sound, Stage 2 = Eisenmann Race, also den den ich hatte, Stage 3 dann die SS Version ohne jeglichem Gutachten etc. Kumpel hatte die SS Version, war noch um einiges lauter, aber nicht mein Geschmack, da einfach zu laut und zu hell vom Klang her für eine 5er Limo. Passt dann eher auf einen M3 oder sowas. War damals nur der Eisenmann ESD, Rest war original.
Ein 540i mit vier Rohren ist mindestens genauso peinlich, wie ein 520i mit vier Rohren. Oder besser noch ein Diesel-5er mit so einer Anlage... Sagt mal, merkt ihr eigentlich das man nicht mit euch, sondern ÜBER euch lacht?! Vier Rohre hat ein M5 und der zu Recht! Und zum Video: Naja, toll...

I agree.. but it depends on the car... a M3 should sound more "rattling" and "throaty"... because it more sporty than a 5 series limousine.. :)
it sounds so much better than stock,i mean in some cars aftermarket exhaust sound only a bit better,but in that car it is really worth!

Sold this car a year ago, have a 320d touring now as a company car :( boring diesel... no power, no sound!
This has been th eoriginal wheels with winter tires.. normally the car had 18" BBS RS2 wheels.

I would recommend maximum 19" wheels on the 540i... something like BBS or HRE. Where are you from?
@BMW530535 the S sport version. The SS is to throaty for the 540i, it´s more for the M3.
