With "Black Swan," BTS divulge their most harrowing shadow yet, one that any person who lives for making art faces: losing the passion for creating. "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." Martha Graham. This quote is at the root of the sentiments inlaid in "Black Swan." Much like a dancer feels purposeless when they can no longer express themselves through dance, BTS contends that the day that music no longer fills them with the same passionate fire as before, or even if there came a day when they stopped creating music - what they feel is their life's purpose - it would feel like death. RM sings, "If this can no longer resonate / No longer make my heart vibrate / Then this may be how I die my first death." Once again, BTS affirm that despite their countless record-breaking accolades, the wealth they've amassed, and their ever-increasing fame, they are artists. What means most to them is the art - music, visuals, dances - that they create. Have a nice day
Yes. I am a 50-yr-old Army. I lost my husband to cancer a year ago and BTS has been the best therapy and mental health support for me. My husband and I both love music and sang together through junior high and high school. I feel like BTS has so much amazing music and diversity of content that I can always find what I need in the moment. Watching people that are new to BTS go through the same rabbit hole I’ve been down has become a real means of entertainment and happiness. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad a year ago to lung and heart failure. He was also my best friend. BTS has saved me from getting lost in my grief and helped me be strong enough to help my mom carry on. 🥺💜💜💜💜💜
I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I haven’t been through what you have but I can wholeheartedly appreciate what you mean by always being able to find what you need in the moment. You never walk alone. ❤
The BTS story is the real David & Goliath story in the Korean Music Industry. It is an underdog story that is not uncommon for small labels outside the big 3 in SK's massive Kpop Industry. However, Bangtan Sonyeondan is the only group that succeeded beyond any one's expectations even those of BTS themselves. The magic lies in how these 7 scrappy and fierce young men who 10 years ago most of them were still in their teens defied the odds, believed in themselves, trusted their mentor & boss Bang PD, shook off all the arrows pointed their way, weathered every mistreatment, every calculated sabotage by the powerful music companies that monopolized Kpop, how they rose above all the negative publicity from a controlled media and withstood a collective targeted multiple social media attack by other fandoms. Truly disheartening. Yet these 7 kids circumvented that prejudiced judgmental kpop system and broke that proverbial glass ceiling over and over again thru sheer grit, discipline and an indefatigable work ethic. BTS created and developed their own strategy to reach their fans because they were shunned by established TV variety shows. So they started personal blogs, Vlives, their own variety show Run BTS and other media content. They realized early on how Army was also affected by their hardships and vowed that they would always do their best and work extremely hard so that their fans would not be embarassed to be called BTS A.R.M.Y They saw Army as their true friends who like them experienced all the horrible stuff that they experienced. They recognized that Army protected them and when Army grew in numbers globally, they saw Army's massive power and reach. To this day, BTS still asks "Why them?" They know that there are other kpop groups who are hardworking and talented too. What is it that gained them such a loyal following of people from toddlers to the elderly from nearly every country on this planet? That is the true magic of these courageous, intelligent, extremely talented, honest and humble young men. Those big 3 companies have tried to replicate it. They will never succeed because there is no formula. There will only be one Bangtan Sonyeondan. Let the other kpop groups make their own unique path to success. Only then will they be able to see if they have what it takes to write their own history.
Yes! I turn 62 in two days and have been a dedicated ARMY for 7 years. I have never so moved by an artist in all my years even though I love music and have listened to many genres.
Agree 💯 I'm 30, grow up on classic rock then I started listening to metal, classical music and many other genres. I found BTS in 2020 and now I listen mostly them. Their 2cool4school album and pre debut songs are on my daily playlist together with BE and LY series is in my top 10 albums.
I’m 33 female from Australia, been an ARMY since early 2015 was raised on Queen music mainly but listened to all types of music & genres so BTS was a natural fit when they found me.
72 gear old grandmother here. I fell down the rabbit hold about 4 years ago. Glad you are giving their music a chance. They have been tougher for 10 years. The youngest is 25 and the oldest is 30. The youngest was just 15 when they debuted. I hope you continue reacting to them. Its good to see father and son experiencing their music together. Great reaction.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
As for BTS ages...the youngest Junkook is 25 and the oldest member Jin is 30. I know if you didn't know them you'd think they were much younger. Their skin care must be magic 😄. Two of the members Jin and J- Hope are currently doing their military service, and the rest of the members will begin to serve at various times this year. They will be back together as a group in 2025.💜
Korean ages are different than international. So, JK was 13 yrs old when he started! 15 Korean age. The guys are 1 or 2 years younger in international age.
@@carolcrooks7018a but Jungkook’s international age is 25. Also, officially Korea has removed the Korean age system so now everyone is a year or two younger.
The song builds around a quote by Martha Graham: “A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” This was a time when they were feeling somewhat burned out and wondering what would happen if they lost their passion for music. But this song ends with renewed hope. In the last few verses, J-Hope sings about the black swan deciding that despair was not going to define its last days and it ends with Suga singing about the swan getting up to dance once more. This reflects BTS' own inner thoughts about their art. They have been open with Army many times in the past about their fears and struggles but have always recovered to decide to push on and aim higher. Their transparency and honesty about their feelings with Army is part of what has fueled this intense and close relationship between BTS as artists and Army. The relationship has gone beyond just being fans; Army actually see them as family - to be with no matter what happens and to defend and protect each other.
I’m a HUGE Beatles fan and have always considered them to be the best of the best. They were record breakers, genius songwriters, and made great music that has lasted from generation to generation. I’m 64 and I taught all The Beatles names to my children and grandchildren. They are a global phenomenon. I NEVER thought this would ever happen again in my lifetime….boy was I wrong! These young men have made it to the LEVEL that The Beatles made it to. They, too, are a GLOBAL PHENOMENON! They are beautiful kind human beings that are so talented that they literally stop you in your tracks when you see them perform. They do sing in English at times but even if I can’t understand their language….isn’t music the universal language anyway? AND…dang, they are handsome! Their fan base have a name for themselves and it’s…ARMY! I’m so happy you and your son have not missed out on this group of well mannered and talented role models. ARMY MOM 💜💜💜
I suppose being a BTS fan makes me a 65 year old, male screaming teenage girl... or not. What a wonderful set of new reactions. 'Mic Drop' is hip-hop, not k-pop, and Black Swan has an almost classical feel to it, again having nothing to do with k-pop. Continue learning. You'll discover this group of musical artists cuts a such a wide swathe through so many musical genres that pigeonholing them as a 'pop' group is, for all intents and purposes, an admission to knowing next to nothing about them.
Love this comment so so much 👏👏👏👏 K-Pop is a Multi-Billion dollar Industry not a Genre so our Tannies are not even considered as K-Pop Artists in their own country of South Korean (As they have been told many times by other agencies) as they have broken out of the mold by doing all genres of music and paved their own way as well as Paved the way for the next generations of K-Pop Artists (Yes they have multiple generations we are currently in the 4th Gen) to breakout into the West.
I have comeback parties (when new songs/albums come out) and the 20-25 guests range in age from 15 to 63. We are a very eclectic group but we all love BTS. Age, gender, ethnicity, religion doesn't matter. The friendships and shared love of BTS music matters. 💜
I am a metal head who loves all metal bands. I am 47 yo and i have found bts and they are now my favorite band of all time. I don’t know how it happened but I love it! Bts is so unique. I can’t describe it. You are not the only metal head who is open to bts. I know a lot of them including myself
Martha Graham once said - “a dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful .” This could be said for any type of art.
I am a 52 year old mother of two. There is a saying that you don't find BTS, BTS find you, when you need them. This is so true for me. They found me at the end of 2019 and they get me through many dark days.
Black Swan MV was my introduction to BTS and I fell in love with them. Now, I have gone way down the rabbit hole and can't seem to ever get enough of all 7 of them, as a group and individually too. FYI, right now their ages are 25 through 30, but at the time this came out in 2020 they would have been 23 through 28. Jungkook is the youngest and his first official solo single is coming out on July 14th. It is called SEVEN. He said in a live stream yesterday that there is an MV to follow and he is still working on his album. ARMY is so excited! Black Swan is about losing your passion for your art (singing, dance, etc.) and that would be considered the first death, which is said to be harder than the real death (I think because you are still alive but you feel dead inside having lost your passion). I believe that BTS were going through some trying times when this song came out. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the song. Their Live performances of this are incredible. I especially love the one they did at their Permission to Dance concerts in late 2021 and April 2022. It's so, so beautiful! Also, one correction to something you said - they DO have in-house choreographers and also sometimes use outside choreographers. J-Hope is the groups Dance Leader, so he learns the choreography first and then guides the others to bring their performances to cohesive and beautiful performances. They also change the choreographies up themselves to make it work better for them as a group. Jimin is also a Main Dancer but his style and his training is in Modern Dance, so he is more fluid, while J-Hope is more street dance (and I think that man has no bones!!). ALL of them can dance though. Jungkook is a Lead Dancer, and V joined the 3J team in 2018 (3J = J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook who sometimes do their own subunit dances). When you have time, I do highly recommend you watch an Introductory video about BTS despite it's length. That way you can learn about each of their unique and amazing talents that make them the best male group in the world!!
Jimin is a contemporary dancer and is the one doing the incredible solo dances in the MV as the lead dancer. Jhope is the main dancer because he’s older and the one who learns the choreo and then teaches the others, but both he and Jimin add things to the choreos as the dancers they are. They practiced 14-16 hrs a day … 8 of those on choreo alone. Their ages as of today range from 25-30. The oldest is Jin who turned 30 on Dec 4th of last year; Suga (aka Agust D -real name Yoongi) is also 30 (3/9/1993); then comes Jhope (Hoseok aka Hobi) who is 29 (2/18/1994); RM (Namjoon) is 28, will turn 29 on 9/12; Jimin is 27 and will turn 28 on 10/13; V (Taehyung) is also 27 and will be 28 on 12/30; lastly is JK (Jungkook) who is 25 and will turn 26 on 9/1. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Check out the BTS Guide by Taylor and you’ll get more info there.😊
I have read every single comment, the only issue I have at the moment is I haven't had the time to reply to everyone, but I certainly will get around to it. Thank you so much 😊🙏🏼
@@XplozoneReactsalthough it is admirable that you wish to respond to every comment, I suspect there will be too many and impossible to do before you know it. 💜
It's refreshing to see you opening yourself up to something new. I'm 55 and I love the 70, 80, 90's music too......... But BTS is on another level. I think that it's more than just their talent. In this day of social media, you get more. BTS are so relatable because of all of the things that they have shared about themselves and everything. A BTS rabbit hole is FULL. I'm glad to see someone else open up and find BTS. The more that you see and find out about them the more you will want to know. Did you know that they have spoken twice at the United Nations? RM has a genius level IQ. They are all from different places in South Korea. They bring in billions to South Korea from tourism. Please check out the introduction to BTS. It's amazing how they climbed up and over all of the other groups in Korea.💜
Hello my Dears, welcome to BTS rabbit hole, thank you for your reaction, I'm 69 years old ARMY here, I love them so much, 7 young men super talented, musicisians, composers, producers, really artists, enjoy your Journey, we ( ARMY ) Will be with you, Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love dancing and my favorite is Jimin (blue hair here). He study contemporary dance before he become a member of BTS. Our sunshine J-Hope is the "dance drill instructor" 🙂 his background is Hip Hop dance. But all of them are so talented and their efforts to create every time such fantastic meaningful MV is unbelievable
This song says, “The dancer dies twice. The first death is when the dancer stops dancing. And this death is much more painful,” the legendary contemporary dancer Martha Graham made its motif. Just as a dancer faces his first death when he quits dancing, it contains the fear of the moment when he will no longer be able to stand on the stage as an artist Black Swan is my favorite song. When I had to end my 25-year career as a contemporary dancer, I felt the same way, and this song comforted me.
I’m about the be 49 and BTS literally saved me!!! I almost died 2 years ago like they told my husband to prepare hisself because they didn’t know what was wrong. They still think it was Covid and my autoimmune disease. I was in ICU for over a month. When I finally woke up and niece came to visit me and she was listening and watching a video of BTS and I asked her what she was watching and she said do u really want to know. I said yes and she showed me a video of BTS and I saw Jimin and was HOOKED!!! He is so amazing!!!!! They are so funny and crazy and the pulled me out of my depression and PTSD with their series Run BTS. Jimin smiles literally brightens my day. It’s true what they say “BTS find you when you need them the most” and I needed them so bad. Please war h love performances of The Truth Untold, House of Cards, Pied Piper and Dimple!!! Jimins voice is so unique and amazing!!!! Us ARMY appreciates y’all reacting to them!!! Much love 💜🫰🏻🫶🏻
Black swan is one of my favorites since i love creative arts. I love how Jimin’s contemporary dance background is being utilized and him being the main character as the group members say this is Jimin’s song. Thank u once again for another reaction and im always waiting for the next. Happy journey with BTS.
What's cool about BTS is that people who like them cover not only a wide age range but also wide musical tastes. I grew up on "classic" FM rock, but I have playlists that include various genres (new wave, disco, funk, alternative, swing). We all have our preferences, but as Suga said, "You’ll like BTS music if you listen without prejudice." The string instrument in the song is a gayageum, a type of Asian zither. I don't know much about music production, but it seems that they carried the vibrato sound of the instrument through to the vocal effects to emphasize the feeling of being unsettled. Looking forward to you getting into the rap and vocal line songs and the solo work.
Black Swan - James Corden Show ! Jimin Solo - The Jimmy Fallon Show. Microphone Drop-snl live recommendations. I'm Korean and I'm using a translator.----
Thank you for your reaction! I'm 40 years old, from Argentina, and fell in love with these seven amazing souls 5 years ago. This song is one of their many masterpieces, their lyricism is something you hardly see nowadays in the music industry, deep messages which can resonate with anyone, no matter your background. I suggest you use English subtitles when watching their videos bc a their lyrics are as important as their beat, their dancing and the visuals. 💜💜💜
I just wanted to add a couple of observations that you may not notice on first watch through the MV. Firstly, the song is from their Map of the Soul album series where they explore Jungian concepts of the Persona, Shadow and Ego. The shadow self is the subconscious hidden persona you have that holds your fears. To become a fully rounded person you need to confront your fears and accept they are part of you to form your full ego persona. In this song that is what they are doing. Their fear of losing passion for making music might have held them back but they confront that fear, accept it and can move on. In the video they are wearing white when they are being viewed from the audience and fan perspective, and they are presenting their persona to us, which is their stage persona. When they are wearing black they are showing us their fears from behind the scenes, from the back of the stage. Suga at one point says he looks inside himself and sees himself, he reaches out and touches the shadow that he was fearing and accepts it is just part of himself. At the very end Jungkook watches his shadow diminish and disappear - he has see his shadow, accepted it and can then move on. It is a very clever video.
The Shadow is part of Jungian Psychology along with Persona and Ego it's the part of the mind where we hide our darkest thoughts, feelings, our doubts, fears and the things we don't want others to know about. In this case it represents that inner fear of losing one's passion for one's art eg Song writing, composing, producing, singing, rapping, dancing, performing and/or losing the ability to do what they love. When the Shadow at the end shrinks down to nothing it's represents over coming those fears of losing one's passion for one's art. Great to see Father and son exploring more together.
Doolset Bangtan Lyrics is a brilliant resource to dig deeper into the meanings of BTS songs. If you have time, please use it. It is very helpful and explains a bit about Korean proverbs, idioms, metaphors, societal issues and historical / cultural context. The symbolisms in this video - (especially the shadow at the beginning and disappearing in the end) will be explained in Doolset Bangtan. It may take a few more viewings to understand what this video is trying to say. Good luck with your BTS journey.
I am a 47yr old single mom of 3 girls in their early 20’s and I LOVE BTS and all their members. I found them back in 2017 when I was in a dark place and they have been my happy place. ❤
Hi, I am 51 and from Tennessee, USA. I always listened to all kinds of music and I found BTS in 2014. I have been an ARMY since I fist discovered them cause I bing watched everything I could find on them the first day. I have been fortunate enough to see them in concert 10 times and there is no other experience on Earth like it. We call the fandom a FAMdom because we are a global family of millions united for a common love and purpose. I am excited to see you all watch some documentaries.....thanks again.
I saw Pink Floyd in 1994, (Division Bell) & thought that would be the best live show ever..and it was UNTIL is saw BTS perform. Their concerts are hands down the BEST!!! I was also I huge Rush fan 7 they gave a bunch of fan service but there is NO ONE that loves their fans like BTS. I am a random 50 yr old chick from Connecticut.
Hi! I'm 50 years old ARMY. I found BTS 7 years ago, when I lost my father... They bring me so much joy and happiness! I love these guys. They are incredible!
52 year old Army here! I could relate to your conversation with your son about music, we play all the old “ real music” in our house too with our daughter…….but these seven amazing young men I have just completely fallen in love with since 2018 , they’re so amazing I came for the music but fell in love with their personalities, love for each other, their fans, charisma and incredible performances. I haven’t loved an artist like this since Michael Jackson. Looking forward to more of your journey with them 💜
All of their music videos and many other tracks have a dance practice. You would enjoy the practice for this. To get a taster for their dancing over 10 years watch 'BTS best dance breaks'. It is great fun and may surprise you!💜 BTS got together and trained between 2010 - 2013 (aged 13 to 18) BTS debuted as a group in 2013 (aged 15 to 20) 13 June 2023 was their 10 year anniversary (now aged 25 to 30) 2 members are currently performing their mandatory military service and the rest should join this year or early next year.
Gracias por su reacción soy army de 50 años estos chicos son maravillosos han ayudado a muchas army a luchar contra la depresión me cuento entre ellos, sigan reaccionando a bts se darán cuenta que hay mucho material 💜💜💜💜😊borahae
Jhope has the title of dance leader since he learns choreos the fastest. In Black Swan it's actually Jimin that would have fine tuned everyone as he is the only one with a background in contemporary dance. He is the one you can see doing the solo parts in the MV.
I'm a 44 year old Silver Army. Don't worry your perception of Them was probably the same as mine before I discovered them. I was drawn to then because of their messages before falling deeper into the fandom.
Loving your BTS reaction vids! You are never too old to discover these uber-talented, beautiful young artists!!! I resisted them for years because I thought they were just some stupid boy band. Boy, was I wrong! At 61, I watched one of their vids and fell hard down the rabbit hole. Now, at 64, I am total ARMY and have such deep love and admiration for them. Jimin and J Hope are my dual bias, but I love them ALLLLLLL!!!! I was a singer in the 1980s and 90s and still love that music, but nothing compares to BTS for me. Thank you so much for your reaction! Wales is the only place in the UK I have never had the chance to visit, but everyone I know who has been there loved it!
That's the terrible misconception that people get when they're first getting into BTS, thinking that they're mostly for teenage girls, but BTS is so much more than that, they appeal to every age, male and female alike. BTS has so many genre's that you really can't group them into just Kpop anymore, please check out more of their music, funny video's, interviews, solo work, you'll be surprised and amazed by this wonderful and exciting and very special group!!!!!!! Their ages range from 25 to 30 yrs old.
hello! It would be interesting for you to watch the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7, which focuses on each one individually and will give you an idea of who exactly they are, and the time of work and talent of these guys, which June 13th made 10 years since they debuted, the group is composed of 3 rappers and 4 vocal line and yes they have a lot of dance performances, and you will see that initially they were cut from the programs because they belonged to a small company, so they created content on youtube to get closer to the fans what makes them stand out, because they really show themselves as they are, it's worth a look, sorry for the insistence
You guys are doing a great job! Please dont feel too worried. Everyone makes mistakes amd believes the stereotypes at the beginning, but you reacted with humility amd acceptance when you were corrected, which is a sign of mature amd intelligent people. You are both enjoyable to watch and I'm happy to watch this journey!
In addition to someone saying BTS being great role models, you’re being a great role model too. Your son is looking to you for your reaction and he’s learning from your open mind and reflection as well. Enjoy the journey!
Enjoyed tour reaction, you both look like kids on christmas morning😊 Love seeing people discover BTS. They have huge content. Take your time and just enjoy.❤

I too.. listened to “real music of the 60-70s some 80s. Then BTS found me (I’ve been told) in 2020!! Yes 2020!! Late comer me!! I heard about them in 2017.. but didn’t think I would digging K-pop music. Until dynamite 😋…
********Excellent Choice! Obviously, few bands dance with NO shoes on! Solo bits are JIMIN, who studied Contemporary Dance at Performing Arts High School. Hello, there. After watching to your previous BTS videos I felt like dropping my comment as well. I'm a 46 Brazilian army and probably at this point you're pretty much aware that we are very diverse and from all over the world. Everytime some UA-camr drops a BTS reaction video Army will definitely shows up and educate you about them if we see you are genuine. So, enjoy your BTS journey, they have 300+ songs and they' are super talented indeed. See you next time. Regards from Brazil 💜
really enjoyed your introductory remarks. New subscriber here. 70 yo and been ARMY since 2016. I was first introduced to Kpop by watching K dramas (highly recommend). I would be watching a show and thinking 'what is that music?' and 'where can I find that song?' Slowly checked out several groups and stumbled across BTS Dope. That was it for me. And down the rabbit hole I went. I was 11 when the Beatles hit the US. I went through Motown/Michael Jackson/disco music but have never connected to any group the way I have with these 7 young men. Love them.
I can vouch that all their music as group and solo work will surprise you almost everytime. Oldest is 30 and youngest is 25. They debuted in 2013 and we just celebrated the 10th anniversary. You really need to watch Introduction to the Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari so you can get to know the basic info on the 7 members. It will add to your BTS Musical journey 💜💜 edited to add - I am a 46yo mom ARMY and I wish I could get my 14yo son to open up to enjoying BTS with me even after taking him to a weekend long fest and a BTS concert. He enjoyed it a lot but still not ARMY 🙄🙄😁😁 i envy you and your son (in a good way) 💜💜💜

Thanks Daddio and Laddio for watching another BTS video and sharing your reactions with us. 🥰 You're doing great. Appreciate you opening up to the possibilities. New Subscriber here looking forward to seeing your journey.
I appreciate you (father & son) wanting to learn more about BTS😍 They are not only known for their incredible voices, dance performance & personalities, but also the deep lyricism of their songs. The lyrics of their songs, along their other attributes made me a BTS fan @ 65yo🥰. I suggest when u watch their videos, turn on the captions (most of w/c have English translations). The lyrics are mostly the reflection of their emotions, experiences, pains, happiness, challenges & hopes that they felt in their music journey & I believe a lot of these resonated w/ their fans, especially the ARMYs. Enjoy ur BTS journey!!!💜💜💜
You would love the following from BTS: The Truth Untold (live version) Tomorrow Your Eyes Tell Film Out (live version) Blue & Grey Magic Shop (live version) Any MMA or MAMA performances Mikrokosmos is (live version) All of their solo songs💜💜💜
Black swan may not have been your son’s favorite, but believe you me.. there’s all kinds of music for both of you to enjoy!! I never thought I would like rap except for “snoop dog” I’m an Asian woman ! But I love the rapline of BTS!! Jhope is my bias for all kinds of reasons!! You will see why!
Why does the dad look like 'Bajie' from into the badlands' (if y'all ever watched the movie). Maybe it's the accent lol. Here are some recommendations(pls watch with dance practice also if you've got the time) -Fake love -DNA -Blood sweat and tears Some rap songs and hardcore beats -Daechwita by suga -Danger -Bulletproof pt2 and No more dream (debut song) -Cypher pt 1,2,3(don't know if you'd want your kid to watch this as it has raw/bold lyrics). But all in all, you guys will get there. Just take your time.
Im in my 60s. Suga and RM have taught me to love their Rap. I even bought RMs Indigo album on CD. He mixes a cool laidback vibe with some cross-genre collaborations with brilliant vocalists and producers. As for Sugas almost cinematic productions.....I know you might not think you love Rap but the lyrics and music will convert you. They did me...if you love great music you wont be able to help yourselves.
@@XplozoneReacts They got a lot of hate from the underground RAP scene they used to belong to before joining BTS. Joker is a stream of consciousness exhibition in RAP skills. A pure flex. Then there is the Cyphers (the RAP line) Of course Agust D(Suga) Trilogy of Daechwita Haegum Amygdala are must watch MVs.
You ahould definitely check out the live performances for black swan. Its has very deep oyrics talking about losing passion for the thing thwy live the most "the first death"
Luv your reactions to BTS. If you want to know more, I would suggest you watch the Bangtan 7 introduction by Taylor. It's about 40 mins long but Army luv long videos about our boys.
J-hope, as the Dance Leader, learns the choreography very quickly and then helps the others learn it. They have worked with amazing "in house" choreographers!

Thank you both for sharing your journey with us. I'll let the other ARMYs make suggestions, because I couldn't possibly choose just one, but there are so many songs and performances I'm excited to see your reaction to. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Black Swan - Art! The story is very well-known and classic tale about losing one's passion for their art (Ballet in the classic texts.) Next suggestion: ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film. Totally different. You two will love it. Not so cerebral.
I like your reactions! I just wanted to say that on the Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari, about 99% of the reactors who watch it are really surprised that the time went by so quickly and they're surprised its over. She did a great job on the documentary and its really interesting. I also wanted to say that i have a 17 year old son that if i asked him to do BTS reactions with me, he'd look at me like i just sprouted a new head and then he'd slowly back away...and possibly lock his bedroom door behind him. 😂 TBF, he'd probably be the same with any musical group. Lol I think it's very nice that you and your son are doing this together. You'll always remember it. 💜
It’s nice to see you spending time with your son and BTS is a good role model for him since they provide positive energy in life! Welcome to BTS hole 😉💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I would love you guys to react to Suga Aka Agust D’s Daechwita MV that’s epic 🤯🤯🤯 he combines Korean traditional instruments and a trap beat. Not to mention the MV is extraordinary. I also think you guys would enjoy their variety show RUN BTS you really get to know the members and their personalities not to mention they are a riot and extremely funny young men. Borahae💜💜💜💜💜💜 btw I’m a 49 year old Army💜💜💜💜💜
Their most visually stunning MV imo. I enjoyed your reaction, it's great when diffetent generations come together over music. ✌💜 I cant wait to see when/if y'all react to the BTS Guide by Taylor. It's good to take your time before getting into that. Its a lot to take in!

The comtemporay dancing was done by Jimin the member dancing on his own. J Hope is the dancer who helps the other members with the dancing he's the Dancer Leader who keeps them in order and the one they look to if they get something wrong.
Youngest member is Jungkook and he’s 26 this year and Jin is the oldest member he’s 31 this year. The guide to the seven members of BTS by Taylor is probably the best fan made and most accurate guide to watch, it’s accurate to the date of May 2022 and obviously they’ve done a lot more since as well as two of them already enlisting in the military. Please watch Taylor’s guide to BTS.
We have watched Taylor's guise and reacted to it. Unfortunately UA-cam made us cut out a lot of segments so we'll upload the short version first then we'll try to bypass copywrite and upload the full version asap 😊🙏🏼
RM sings, "If this can no longer resonate / No longer make my heart vibrate / Then this may be how I die my first death."
Once again, BTS affirm that despite their countless record-breaking accolades, the wealth they've amassed, and their ever-increasing fame, they are artists.
My strongest condolences, Ami. I wish you health and joy. 💜 Borahae
@@ShelKim1991and condolences to you, too Ami! BTS helped me through the first bite of grief, as well. 💜🫰
Sorry for your loss, what amazing memories you must have of him!
This!!! I absolutely love your comment & the way you worded it💜
@@aishwaryaahirrao Thank you!
Army has No age limit...Great Music is Ageless and Timeless!!!☺
Facts
62 yr old USA woman! My favorite group of my lifetime!
This is the song that made me ARMY. It’s so beautiful. I’m a 51 year old who grew up with 80’s hair metal.
Korean skincare IS magic! 😍
Thank you so much. BTS sure have made the world come together and enjoy their message as one ☺️🙏🏼
Love this comment so so much 👏👏👏👏
K-Pop is a Multi-Billion dollar Industry not a Genre so our Tannies are not even considered as K-Pop Artists in their own country of South Korean (As they have been told many times by other agencies) as they have broken out of the mold by doing all genres of music and paved their own way as well as Paved the way for the next generations of K-Pop Artists (Yes they have multiple generations we are currently in the 4th Gen) to breakout into the West.
Your first sentence made me chuckle. 50 year old female screaming teen from UK 😂
BTS are incredible role models.... your son is certainly headed down a good path falling down this rabbit hole. 💜

The introduction is only about 30 minutes. There are some short ones.
Just as a dancer faces his first death when he quits dancing, it contains the fear of the moment when he will no longer be able to stand on the stage as an artist
Black Swan is my favorite song. When I had to end my 25-year career as a contemporary dancer, I felt the same way, and this song comforted me.
That's awesome info. Thank you so much! Their dancing is incredible! 😊🙏🏼
I'm so sorry to hear of your ill health! I totally understand why they can help you feel better in life. They are just incredible 😊🙏🏼 more to come!
Thank you for identifying that sound for us., and explaining the purpose behind it.
💜💜💜
I m a 55 years old latin Army 💜 and took a flight 14 hours to see them in LA. Awesome!
Love your comment 😉💜
So we'll put. Thank you.
That sound is a korean instrument!

Black Swan is one of the best BTS songs I love. Looking forward to your reaction to “Louder Than Bomb” next💜🙏🫠.
Hopefully, eventually, you guys can check out their dance practice and live performances. BTS is a complete package.
J-hope is the danceleader he learn the choregraph before an put his one moves to it too and teatch the others

I too.. listened to “real music of the 60-70s some 80s. Then BTS found me (I’ve been told) in 2020!! Yes 2020!! Late comer me!! I heard about them in 2017.. but didn’t think I would digging K-pop music. Until dynamite 😋…
Hi 78 old Army here. Thank you for your reaction!
The sincerity both of you showed in your intro moved me.
********Excellent Choice! Obviously, few bands dance with NO shoes on! Solo bits are JIMIN, who studied Contemporary Dance at Performing Arts High School. The Stunning Backdrop: Shot at the historic Los Angeles Theater in downtown LA. Back in the Day, all the Movie Studios built their Own Theatres to Show Their Own Movies..
BTS- blood sweat and tears
I'm thinking BST may be too mature for son right now.
@@stacybrenton5482I agree
He enjoyed it a lot but still not ARMY 🙄🙄😁😁 i envy you and your son (in a good way) 💜💜💜
i found u guys with your dynamite reaction and decided id be waiting to check more of your bts reactions, u are not the first ones to find bts with wrong ideas or expectations so i always wait for more to see if people learn from the comments and the videos, some doesnt but im so glad u guys did !
I enjoy your reactions a lot, very nice and genuine, open for more and to learn, i dont regret suscribing to you channel AT ALL
Im almost 22yo but met bts when i was 15yo, and if i have to be really honest, i dont believe i would be here today if it wasnt for them, without noticing ive learned so much not only with their lyrics but also their speeches and conversations on livestreams, I learned so much about keep going in life, about being on others side while they learn their own ways in life
Im so glad im seeing u guys find bts while in different parts of your life and still be able to connect with each other, i'll be waiting for more ! greetings from argentina !
Enjoy ur BTS journey!!!💜💜💜
actually only 2 are trained dancers, the rest learned when the joined and most off theme had to learn to sing too
Bts love
You would love the following from BTS:
The Truth Untold (live version)
Tomorrow
Your Eyes Tell
Film Out (live version)
Blue & Grey
Magic Shop (live version)
Any MMA or MAMA performances
Mikrokosmos is (live version)
All of their solo songs💜💜💜
Mis respetos padre e hijo son una pareja modelos a seguir y me gusta verlos gracias por su reaccion
Butterfly too
Why does the dad look like 'Bajie'
from into the badlands' (if y'all ever watched the movie). Maybe it's the accent lol.
Here are some recommendations(pls watch with dance practice also if you've got the time)
-Fake love
-DNA
-Blood sweat and tears
Some rap songs and hardcore beats
-Daechwita by suga
-Danger
-Bulletproof pt2 and No more dream (debut song)
-Cypher pt 1,2,3(don't know if you'd want your kid to watch this as it has raw/bold lyrics).
But all in all, you guys will get there. Just take your time.
Shout out from South Korea! - 43yr old ARMY 💜
Oh we're big fans of rap and we think they are fantastic rappers 😊🙏🏼
@@XplozoneReacts They got a lot of hate from the underground RAP scene they used to belong to before joining BTS. Joker is a stream of consciousness exhibition in RAP skills. A pure flex. Then there is the Cyphers (the RAP line) Of course Agust D(Suga) Trilogy of Daechwita Haegum Amygdala are must watch MVs.
Welcome...love your truly genuine reactions...☺👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
BTS- black swan art film please❤
The group has a vocal line with Jimin,
Jkook, V and Jin and the rap line RM (the lieder the group) ,jhope and Suga
You ahould definitely check out the live performances for black swan. Its has very deep oyrics talking about losing passion for the thing thwy live the most "the first death"
Luv your reactions to BTS. If you want to know more, I would suggest you watch the Bangtan 7 introduction by Taylor. It's about 40 mins long but Army luv long videos about our boys.
J-hope, as the Dance Leader, learns the choreography very quickly and then helps the others learn it. They have worked with amazing "in house" choreographers!
Hello!!
Second all of this!!
El que baila increíble danza es PARK JIMIN 😍
RM the leader of BTS and the main songwriter is the mais songwriter and composer of this masterpiece 💙
Lol
I think it's very nice that you and your son are doing this together. You'll always remember it. 💜
It’s nice to see you spending time with your son and BTS is a good role model for him since they provide positive energy in life! Welcome to BTS hole 😉💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you so much. I like to spend as much time as possible with him. My whole world right there 😊🙏🏼
Gracias por la buena onda a BTS..ME SUSCRIBO DESE ARGENTINA..
Thank you so much and welcome 😊🙏🏼 hello from Wales uk
I love your focus, thank you. ❤
Oh hello there, 62 year old hard core BTS ARMY here! 😂💜
we appreciate your reactions so much 💜
말할때마다 아드님을 지긋히 바라보시는게 다정해 보여요!
Thank you so so much. I'm very proud of him 🙏🏼😊
I would love you guys to react to Suga Aka Agust D’s Daechwita MV that’s epic 🤯🤯🤯 he combines Korean traditional instruments and a trap beat. Not to mention the MV is extraordinary. I also think you guys would enjoy their variety show RUN BTS you really get to know the members
and their personalities not to mention they are a riot and extremely funny young men.
Thank You for Your reaction.
