Yo, props to my dad for being super patient and calm when teaching me to drive! Never grabbed the wheel from me or anything. To be fair, I never did anything stupid behind the wheel which would cause him serious concern. My dad also taught my sister, my brother, and my sister-in-law how to drive. At first my brother was going to teach his wife to drive (she hadn't needed to learn in her small hometown, nor in her college town that had great public transit), but he quickly realized he did NOT have the temperament for that, so Dad took over.
