I did scanned my daughter vehicle and even did not have warning lights on, found 36 conditions on her vehicle. It is a great scanner. The best thing is you do not have to pay for updates. The updates are free and easy to do it. Also it is a easy to use and to scan any vehicle.

I cant get my to update, its registered, but maybe you can put a step by step vid on this one. The one thing that sucks about foxwell is no u s support number to call. I had it plugged in to usb for over 2 hours several times and it says update in progress, but i dont see any progress. Im at the point wondering why they dont come updated as my newest vehicle is 2015. Im thinking foxwell may have been a Bad Choice.

Here are a few of them: "Can’t register the product. Can’t contact manufacturer. Can’t update software. Product is very unstable. Freezes. Product does NOT do many of the functions that it states it does." EDIT: I did notice that there are a few sellers on eBay selling huge amounts of these things, one in fact has almost 800 sales (ancel-tool). I wonder if all the 1 star reviews is just because there are so many buying these...
I'm not sure, but I can tell you that hasn't been my experience. Registration on the Foxwell site took maybe 3 minutes. There is an email on the site, but I never tried using it so I can't comment on that, and I've filmed a part 2 where I show the update procedure. That part does take some time the first go around as there are a LOT of updates. It took almost an hour, but it brought everything up to current. This month when I did an update there were only maybe 6 or 7 makes that needed updates and it went a lot faster. I've been using it nearly daily here and while it's not quite pro-level, its pretty close. For the price it's a fraction of the next step up so I think it's worth it, especially since the updates are free.
When i go in maintrance it cames epb and oilreset when i go in oil reset it comes the same program at diagnostic why?i must do an update?or is the car the problem bmw x3 3.0 2004

It shows conditions even the warning lights are off. It is excellent to use it when buy a new or used cars!!!
What do I like it is you do not have to pay for updates. All updates are free. Easy to use and to update it.

It may need an update. I haven't tested mine on any BMW's yet.
