In today's edition, former Big 12 offensive lineman Brien Hanley shares an opinion from the world of Big 12 athletics.
The Big 12 Insiders airs Monday through Friday (Central) on this UA-cam channel, in addition to selected live events.
You're right. Deion needs to stop talking and just be a coach. Coaching your sons only goes so far, and eventually, that would get played out in the pros and ultimately wouldn't work in the locker rooms with grown men.
I am not necessarily a big Deion fan but I give him full credit for building his program and doing it his own way, making massive use of the transfer portal like nobody ever had done at that scale before and the assistant coaches that he brought in to work with the players. Crazy fast turnaround for a program that was awful. As for him leaving, I don't think he would be a great NFL coach but I could be wrong, he has surprised me so far.
jealous and hatred are mental illnesses.. get help.
Love your take on this subject! I hope he stays in CO a few more years, he puts eyes on the conference.
I think Coach Prime is massive for the B12, without a blue blood they are the only program that draws attention and eyes nationally. He 100% increases the value of the conference value to TV executives. We need him to stay.
I agree
Before we moved to the PAC12 CU was a top 25 all time winning team.
@@irlhimmelMoving to the PAC was not a good thing for CU or Nebraska but at least Nebraska got paid and will make a lot more money.
Pay the man damnit 😮
@@rmatthews3473 one way or another he getting paid.
In 2022 the average attendance was 41,800 and in 2023 Coach Prime's first season the average attendance was 53,000+
It was never going to be enough to just tell the mainstream media that was not his plan, so he decided to change it up by indicating he go if he had the opportunity to coach both of his sons on the same team which is highly unlikely. Having to give an answer to the same question over and over again is crazy work.
He said he wasn't leaving like 250 times, they keep asking him the same question, now lets play
Big 12 needs to establish its position as the parity league. Similar to the NFL, the only other league truly built on parity. Makes games more entertaining in general. NBA, MLB have “salary caps” where the NFL has a hard salary cap to maintain parity year to year.
Colorado needs to pay Coach Prime why wait for a contract to end.
B, CU NIL flat broke 💸 whether by Boulder businesses lack of support or misappropriation.. after financial windfalls abound since Prime arrived. Know you have read how him, Trav + Shadeur gave much of their earnings towards the team. It's sad because it's almost a carbon copy of Jackson State... except, Mississippi + businesses had no money + political resistance. Your comments on his leaving are already used against him, on major outlets, before recently. Glad you're back 🫡✌🏾
😂😂😂😂 so, all this time, he has been saying he is happy. And all this time? The media has been creating scenarios for him to leave. He finally says, I'll leave under these circumstances and here you come. 😂😂 smh. It's silly. The man ain't going nowhere.
Coach Prime needs to stay at Colorado and dominate college football.
Deon is gone. He only coached because of shedeur
@@PeterGuirguess-kw8ph What, Shiloh was chopped liver?
@@jbrock8596 Pretty much, yeah. You see how DJ Giddens broke his ankles? He also had to lead the league in unsportsmanlike plays and generally douchey behavior
@@BracketCat Doesn't really matter if he sucks, he is still Deion's kid and I am assuming Prime loves him and was happy coaching him at Colorado. I disagree that Prime "only coached because of shedeur". Shiloh and even Hunter were a factor too.
