My very first concert was Willie Nelson! It was in the tiny town of Bessemer, Michigan. The U.P.! It was an amazing experience! I went and saw Willie again three years ago! I haven't been able to see Lukas and POTR yet, but I really hope that someday I will be able to!
I have met the band twice, Lukas is down to earth as they come, he walked up beside me at a show ten years ago during the opening act and we talked for 10 mins, just he and I, cool interaction

Lukas has been my favorite artist since I discovered him about 5 years ago. I even named my Puppy Lukas after him. Was blessed to see him in concert a few months back and it was the best concert ever.

After searching UA-cam for Ray, Willie and Leon I found the video that Lukas speaks of. I’ve watched it 6 times now (admittedly crying each time). It’s one of the most incredible emotional heart felt performances I have ever seen in my life. If that isn’t true love, I don’t know what is.

I have been a fan of lukas since around 2012. He was on the jimmy fallon show and he sang with his dad.i just thiught he had such a beautiful voice. I didnt know that it was willies son till after they got done singing.ever since then i have been a huge fan. He always seems so genuine and down to earth. God bless you lukas.

I first heard Lukas sing with Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter and it blew me away. I thought the 2 of them sang beautifully together, it was “ When they lay me down” a song Willie and Loretta had recorded and I was hooked and have watched it many times and I believe Lukas is amazing artist. I’ll keep watching him. Come to Australia Lukas you will knock it out of the stadium. 🇦🇺🦋🙀🙏💞🌅

Very good interview. Interesting to hear of how the muse hits to write a song. Can happen in many ways. Being true to yourself, and allowing others to be themselves, is paramount, otherwise we only get lost and what we are searching for will never happen.
Really like the story of how he named his band - he's right, there are a lot of dead ends one can get lost on in the music business. So important to keep it real 🙂

When i first heard of him I was at a festival in Oregon. I was zoooooted on psychedelics. Lol but I was just on a journey walking around. I heard a voice. My eyes lit up. I followed it. I remember thinking. Why does he sound so familar??? I'm high...searching for this voice. I found it. I was mesmerized! This dude saw me and said! He sounds just like daddy huh?? And I was like who's his daddy? Then he told me. I bout died

Lots of humility in his greatness. My wife and I were soooooooooo incredibly sorry that his performance we saw last night was marred by a poor sound setup and venue with lousy acoustics. Would have wished we'd seen him in a smaller setting playing acoustical numbers rather than his EXTREMELY LOUD ROCK sound. Perhaps there's another opportunity down the road.
