Brushcutter Failing: It Accelerates and Stalls. How to Fix It?

Hello friends. In this video I show you how I solved the symptom that can appear in Stihl fs 80, fs 120, fs 160, fs 220, fs 290 brushcutter: the brushcutter won't start, in which it starts, works normally at idle, but when accelerating it starts to fail and stalls. This symptom can appear when the carburetor has some type of impurity lodged internally. This symptom, in which the brushcutter, when accelerating and it ends up flooding, is due to a lack of fuel in the combustion chamber. To solve this problem, we must adjust the opening of the needle that controls the fuel flow at idle, which is by turning the "L" screw. When we turn it counterclockwise, this valve will open. However, we must first return to the standard setting, which is closing this screw and then opening it one turn. Then we can open it little by little until the engine speed returns to normal when accelerating. Never leave it set to less than one turn open. If this is not successful, there may be problems that must be solved before adjustment, such as cleaning the air and fuel filter, cleaning the inside of the carburetor, poor sealing of the fuel transfer pipes, clogged cap breather, damaged carburetor membrane and other problems.
