this is one of the greatest sci fi movie scenes in history ! And i know ill get pushback from that. and i know people hate prometheus. But this scene. Oh my god..... The sounds and visuals are obviously amazing. The pain she is going through. The surgury. The pacing. the tensity. The feeling of urgency. The beeping of the med pod. But its the machine thats what makes the scene amazing. The movie builds up the marvel of this med pod. Its an absolute technical powerhouse. Some team of geniuses with insane funding created this thing. Its a marvel of science and technological engineering. We dont know the full extent of its capabilities, we just know only 12 of them were created and that it is insanely technologically complex. It has custom capabilities that basically allow you to do whatever you want with it. And she decided to go in and get the alien baby cut out with the custom tailored surgury. Its soooo damn cool. And its sooo disgusting. And its sooo tense. The pacing. Its just thrilling. The sound of the machine beeping, the sense of urgency, the way it seems like its going to burst out of her belly at any moment, such an amazing scene. Oh and yea, the med pod is cool as fuck.
I don't think the actor's knew when exactly I wold come out.. there's one similar in plot where the alien baby popped out and the actor's were not told before the shot Also the acting in the crow scene in the birds was NOT acting the director literally sicked those birds on unsuspecting actors and actresses
Next to Ripley, original Alien's movies, Dr. Shaw is a tough woman. She could not do regular anesthesia maybe a local but still to have a laser cut your stomach, extract a fetus and staple the incision. She is a very strong character. I busted my knee years ago and was sweating like a runaway slave when they took x-rays. It was so swollen that I didn't have much pain until the x-ray techs started moving me around. After surgery I had 22 staples and when they came to remove them that was painful.
I had a cancerous tumor removed that had eaten one third of my right collar bone. It had broken off. During surgery I woke up in the middle of it while they were hack away at my collar bone. I was no longer paralyzed for a second but everyone else was still paralyzed. When she began running out the door, I snatched the remote and punched the off button. this is one of the greatest sci fi movie scenes in history !
Cool machine beeping doens't make a science fiction movie, let alone a good one

What were they expecting from Ridley Scott movie? Roses and bees on an alien planet ?🤣
Is it as bad as the chestburster scene from the original alien?
the acting is legit god tier
I don't think the actor's knew when exactly I wold come out.. there's one similar in plot where the alien baby popped out and the actor's were not told before the shot
Also the acting in the crow scene in the birds was NOT acting the director literally sicked those birds on unsuspecting actors and actresses

It was a damn excruciatingly painful nightmare and I pray I don't get anymore. My shoulder has remained painful and weak from it.
What happens if someone kicks your knee?

It's so old and dated, it's time to bury it in the past were it belongs.

to me, this is the best scene of the movie by far
Her *BRAIN* was probably was more focused on the emotion she's showing rather than the pain. fear seems to be winning cause fear is really hard to face and you literally can't think right when you're at that state so I guess Pain vs Fear, Fear *Has Won The Battle*

Noomi Rapace is such a strong intelligent, beautiful hero in this film, love her!!!...
Steven King does the same thing. He creates a character you love then puts them in harms way .
Well intelligent idk, i Think the dumb decisions from the character's in this movie are by far the worst part, acting is great, it looks incredible and the idea is good and very interesting, but the characters are just so unbelievably dumb.
@@deadshot0908 Yeah I agree at times like taking off their helmets and shit, some stupid decisions had to be made but they HAD to cuz how else they gonna lose to the Aliens although if we are non native to LV-426, does that mean we are the Aliens to them then?

Edit: THX FOR DA LIKES!!!
2nd Edit: Yeah, I remember what happened. Me and my 3 cousins were sitting on the bed. I accidentally clicked out of UA-cam. This came on. I didn't touch the remote because I was too curious. Then, when the action happened we were paralyzed in shock. I was no longer paralyzed for a second but everyone else was still paralyzed. When she began running out the door, I snatched the remote and punched the off button. Then we started hyperventilating for 20 minutes straight. I was in the closet with the door open and I was chanting “Kill Me! Kill Me! Kill Me!”
Briley was trying to calm me down by saying “It’s okay, It’s okay, it’s over now…”
Bentley was literally crying.
And Leigha was telling me “Let's watch DanTDM and maybe you'll get over it” while sweating.
