Ghost of Tsushima's use of color is breathtaking. It's so vivid and dramatic. Every location feels like you're in a painting, granting the story a quality of being larger than life, without ever crossing the line into cartoonishness.
Very good description. Im not a fan of cartoonish art styles in games. GoT and GoW (2018) both straddle that line so well. Giving you vibrance and contrast without looking artificial. Super stylised realism
@@SpartanB90 I mean, A Ghost Of Tsushima movie is definitely in the works but unfortunately it probably won't be THAT similar to Kurozawa's works since it'll be directed by the same guy who did the John Wick films

I mean no. I totally enjoyed the game, it's poetic and beautiful and you can feel passion from the devs. But unfortunately OW was too classic, very repetitive (exploration was frustrating) and side quests too much based on combat. So definitely a very good game that could have been amazing with a bit more creativity.
@@Rom2ification the only thing this game beats RDR2 in is the combat, everything else is kinda weak except the graphics. Let's talk about the open world first, because in this game it's so fucking lame and repetitive the devs could have easily made this a linear game. You can only kill Mongols here, because the rest of the side activities are not fun at all, they're just either go from point A to point B or make the 24th haiku. The world feels dead because you can't even interact with NPCs that aren't Mongols. The story is good but there have been hundreds better in games before. The combat saves this game in my opinion because it's so damn fun, shame that everything around it is mediocre.
@@manuelcolombo1554 yep, i agree. They counted too much on their combat system. Every quest in the game involves combat, there's no other interactions. It's not the poorest OW I saw (still better than Horizon for example), but I agree to say it's weak and soooo repetitive man. Exploration is always the same 5 activities : foxes, katana skins, baths, temples, and haikus. You can't deliver that in 2020, at a time when everyone wants more autonomy and diversity in exploration. imo, story was good. Yes very basic, but I felt the epicness and some scenes were really breathtaking. It does the job I think. Anyway, you can feel a lack of creativity in world building
Personally i think the game is a pure poetry of the gaming, that show the potentiality of the gaming itself, that can be just art like any other media. Btw the video is beautiful, keep going like this.

This is one of the most impactful games I've ever experienced in my life, finishing it for the first time left me with an emptiness, a feeling of something great that I've never experienced before
@@itsnotyasir The problem was there was no foundation when they started. For decades developers like Rockstar have been building their engines and technology for complex open world action games with robust systems whether its the physics, NPCs routines, driving, animations, etc. plus all the optimizations needed for them but CDPR somehow wanted all that and more in a bigger scale plus deep RPG mechanics and branching storylines on top of that. Just a huge scope they had no way of delivering let alone optimizing for lower end hardware in the relatively short time between Witcher 3 Blood and Wine DLC and Cyperpunk release date.

When my Horse Died I dropped to my knees and started crying. When I was escaping Lord Shimura and the Shoguns Soldiers after I poisoned the Mongol Camp. They shot Kage with flaming arrows 5 times. But he kept running even though he knew it would kill him. He ran through the night and through the blizzards. He faught with bravery, Honour, and Loyalty. He protected me from Death. And right when we reached our destination he dropped dead. with his Duty fulfilled, he died the death of a True Samurai. Knowing that he gave his life for me, His One Friend. Thank you Kage.
