This is one of the largest collections of Uk Thomas vhs and DVD’s I have ever seen. It truly is one of the best as well. I hope start a collection like this one day. Great video and a fantastic collection.
I was born in 1987. Thomas the Tank Engine was my all time favourite but still is, 🤫 Don’t tell everyone. My dad used to get Down the mine learn with Thomas VHS when I was 5. Was the recording of Thomas and the magic railroad on Sky? RIP Peter Fonda and Russell Means. I say, it saved you messing about hurting your arms from 4:56-4:59 starting with the ones on the left. My old friend called Matthew had the Pickwick version of The Deputation as he kindly lent it to me. The carry case is also known as carry me. My sister got The very best of Thomas and friends for my 30th birthday, 2 years ago. A Disney Aladdin narrator quote Indeed at 16:01. Too close, A little too close.LOL. RIP Toys R Us. I’ve enjoyed watching your Thomas VHS and DVD Collection. Stay well and safe.
Very nice collection! I got Thomas and Friends bumper party collection for my Christmas in 2011 and I am also getting your favourite story collection for my 19th birthday.
I rate this man, I’ve been thinking of building my own Thomas DVD collection I’ve already bought series 1-7 but I’ve been thinking about purchasing the restored versions as well.
@@Thomasfan261 It's interesting that the final US tape was released in May 2006, while CAE was released in October 2005, marking the end of UK Thomas VHS releases.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate hearing that from you. You’re the main reason I started collecting vhs tapes again 😅 and yeah magic railroad never fails to be the most common vhs and dvd I see.
@@Thomasfan261 Wow, thanks. It's interesting that you view me that way, because despite all the videos I own, I don't actually view myself as a proper collector. I've got a video about that coming out on September 16th.
Oh really? I’ll be sure to watch it when it comes out, I actually mentioned you in one of my dvd reviews and said how I’m trying to make my series not seem as if it’s a rip off of yours 😅 ua-cam.com/video/g5brR6yDlSo/v-deo.html (Keep in mind my videos are a lot better than this one, this one was made when I was only just getting the hang of stuff) This one here is a lot better ua-cam.com/video/eRni7Zlxu9U/v-deo.html
@@Thomasfan261 I've just seen the Chocolate Crunch review. Let me just say, dude, you don't have to worry about your series ripping off Video Memories. If anything, you're better at reviewing Thomas and Friends releases than I am, and it'll come down to two things: 1. You're more attached to Thomas and Friends than I am, so you'll have more to say. You can say more than I can without repeating yourself. 2. I'm more of a storyteller than I am a reviewer. Any of my top 10 picks for Video Memories can highlight that. Yeah, you have nothing to worry about. If I had to give advice, I'd say write down some notes before making the video, so you know what you want to say. I usually write a script and go off of that when I do a review, so that helps me.
Yeah that’s what I meant by I was just getting used to stuff, from my Magic railroad review onwards I used scripts to make my videos flow better, that’s why I’m so proud of this one ua-cam.com/video/eRni7Zlxu9U/v-deo.html I’m slowly finding my footing and hopefully the style of that vid sticks. But honestly thank you for saying that, I’m always really self conscious about how I sound and talk as I tend to stutter and mess up lines, if I added up all the outakes of me reading scripts the video would be at least half an hour long. But again, thank you for inspiring me. It’s so nice to hear that stuff from someone I look up to 😁
I've got the cardboard version of Thomas and the magic railroad and I bought the cardboard version of Thomas and the magic railroad from CeX. But, I didn't know it was rare, how lucky was I to get the cardboard version of Thomas and the magic railroad?
Woah! You have many releases! I know you don’t plan to sell any of them, but this is amazing! I’ll see if I can buy some VHS tapes again, as I miss those.
The Series 2 Thomas VHS Tapes that you got has got the Screen Legends Logo until Pickwick Video comes along and as for the Series 1 Cover Design that you're on about was created By Peter Hill who created these covers.
The 5-Episode Video is a very Rare Video which it came free with the Chocolates when originally bought and I used to rescue that Rare VHS Tape when I was at Tenovus!
Do you tend to get VHS tapes in the wild? I'm not a Thomas collector but there's a series I want to collect on VHS but if you're buying them one by one on eBay, the shipping is £3 a pop. Any advice on that, is it best to get bundles?
I was lucky enough to get a large portion of mine for free from Facebook marketplace, but when it comes to buying them on eBay, it all depends on what you do and don’t have, if you’re starting of, then I’d suggest getting bundles until you’ve only got the rarer tapes left, you will have a fair amount of duplicates but you could always sell them on eBay or something. That’s what I’ve done. So long story short, get the common tapes first in bundles, and get the rare ones when you get the chance (:
@Thomasfan261 yeah, it’s got some really great episodes, like Percy’s Promise, Henry’s Forest, Trust Thomas, Buzz Buzz, Escape and some others too. Although I hate Diesel Does It Again. I think my favourite episode from Season 3 is Trust Thomas. My favourite season is Season 6, because it has my all-time favourite Thomas episode, Thomas the Jet Engine. What’s your all-time favourite Thomas episode?
The cheapest tape to get is probably ‘Thomas and Bertie adventures’ and the most expensive one I have is the very first Thomas vhs that’s worth around £100 or so (could be more)
@@Thomasfan261 My problem with the movie is when I saw it in 2005, I thought the engines were gonna get along, but when I watched S9, they were trying to prove superior rather than trying to scrap the engines. My other problem is the learning segments and songs interrupting the special, as well as the Diesel 10 character.

If I'm not wrong, the only tape you need to finish the main timeline is CAE.

Oh ok, I thought the dvd version of the cardboard version of Thomas and the magic railroad was rare.
you have a nice thomas collection
I like how in the intro, the engine's numbers match the Season #, like Thomas is S1, and Edward is S2.

From what I've seen, the Bumper Party Collection 60th Anniversary is hard to find. Do you know why?
The vhs is rare, purely because it was one of the last Thomas vhs tapes that was made (:

Why was "Day Of The Diesels" the only "Thomas & Friends" anything to get a Blu Ray release in the UK?
They did plan to make Misty Island Rescue on blu ray in the UK but it was cancelled last minute
