- Every week I take the deck that wins the vote here on UA-cam for 50 matches on the bo1 ladder. This week Simic Cookies won the vote (and then lost to Ratadrabik). This deck struggles a little against Boros Convoke but the rest of the match ups felt good. I decided to explore Lost Jitte since I think it has some interesting synergies with the deck.

In the first match the winning line in 13:20 was to bind the gingerbrute into your graveyard with your first map token, cast cauldron and exile gingerbrute targeting your 5/4 to give the ability of can't be blocked with your last mana
Or use the cauldron to get the surge engine unblockable ability
Kitesail can also preserve a creature in anticipation for a sun fall or depop
Good point!
Any spicy techs to improve the match up against Boros Convoke?
Your first Match of the video if you exile surge engine with the cauldron you could have made the food token unblock-able and swing for lethal. Cookies is a tough deck to pilot. I do stuff like that still too.
It's a really bad matchup for cookies. I main deck a copy of March of Swirling Mist. It helps against Boros Convoke by phasing out some of the attackers when they swing with everything, allowing you to stay alive and swing back for the win if you've managed to develop a board. It's also good against agro and control decks.
@@aicragkmilo3600 Eliminate the Impossible is a great way to combat trick them and creates a clue token. Try that
@@TheGreygoose87 Oh I was looking at the tough cookie when surge engine was there all along!
@@aicragkmilo3600 Oh I like that addition. Definitely can give you that one turn to seal the deal and if they don't have lethal they are usually looking to chump with 1/1's
