Hi, may I know how's your T20 now? Is it still at the best performance after 2 years? How often do you use this vacuum?
I use the successor (T30) and it is brilliant almost 2 years later.

Have you heard about the main brush issue? Many customers are complaining about this issue which stops the main brush from rotating normally. Have you encountered this issue by now?
I've seen the issue with tougher carpets. But my brush was not stopping even when trying big pieces of dirt.

Hello, could you please let me know how you dissasembled the cyclone unit so it can be cleaned. The book isn't very clear and your video already showed it apart. I do not want to break it, as it was a Christmas gift for me this year. I want to check it because I was using it the power brush and it was going off and on, whether I was on the hard floor or rug. But it's only not even a month (almost the 25th) and I shouldn't have to clean the filter or dust unit. This would be very helpful. Thank you.
Yeah, it was pretty easy to disassemble the cyclone unit. THe instructions are rather vague...
I have read and seen pictures of SO MANY faults with this vacuum. The plastic is so cheap that it will snap easily when you are taking the filter out. The head of the vacuum has a short cable inside it that will snap after a short time. Beware.. this one is to be avoided at all costs. A huge surprise considering Dreames reputation.
Can you show us where this information comes from? Would be good to see some pictures with these issues.

I guess it's one of the very early units.

Are you saying conventional vacuums still has much stronger suction power? In terms of cleaning flexibility and ability which one is better?
Conventional vacuums have stronger suction, yeah. But the difference is not that huge any longer. I haven't used my conventional vacuum since 2 years now.
Does dirt fall back out if you hold it wrong? There seems to be no flap inside to prevent that.
There is - at the top. So nothing falls down once you are done cleaning.

This or JV85 Pro? I already ordered the JV85 Pro as in some tests especially the hard floor ones made by Avis Express french vlogger the Jimmy cleaned much better and efficient on Economy mode whereas the Dreame T20 struggled a bit.
From a scene to scene the results may vary due to the construction difference. I like both models. Always have the feeling that the Dreame sucks a little stronger, but this may be very subjective.
Is this model still sold? Wasn't it replaced by the G10?
It is still available, yeah. There's the T30 as far as I remember.
Electric brush in mine died after 3 months of light usage. Got a replacement (new brush) from Dreame after a month. Now, after 3 months, new brush starts to die ine the same way. What a flop, I don’t recommend it.
That's annoying! Maybe they will send another one?
@@TechMishka that is the plan, but it will arrive after a month. I can’t repair previous brushes in the meantime because they always ask for a video presenting all of them not working :D
same problem here. fortunately bought from amazon and sent it back but without any replacement, was simply refund. Now i don't know what to buy

Hi, some people have the problem, that the v shape roller stops sometimes, mostly when turn left or right when cleaning. I‘m waiting for my T20 since the Indigogo campaign drama.
Yes, a lot of people have this problem and dreame do nothing with this.

Sry, it is in German. The two cables are to short and not flexible enough. The movement of the head breaks it.
Does it work with Dyson roller accessory?

No. Has soft material to prevent scratching.

Most of them are quite similar. The G10 is now very common and popular. T20 is awesome too, advantage is that it has flexible pipe.

Random question I'm getting a new phone do I charge it after first use or do I put it on charge out of the box?
Most of the time it won't matter that much. Generally - it is good to discharge the battery to 10% and then fully charge. But most batteries have controllers that prevent memory effect, overcharging and similar.
I have it and can’t recommend it, because since one week now it got much louder. I think the motor broke
I only have it for 6 Months. :(
Much louder? Sounds bad... Hopefully it is just working at max speed. Try cleaning the brush - if it is stuck, the vacuum may think it's a carpet underneath.
Guys can anybody tell me, why the brush doesn't turn when vacuuming? I've cleaned everything as shown, but the brush just stops turning
Might be stuck? Can it move if the vacuum is in stillstand?
@@TechMishka no its not stuck, I took it apart and cleaned it again and it's still not working.. It starts to work and then stops again. It has suction, but doesn't turn... Its getting frustrating..

In fact I'd really go for the Xiaomi Mi G10. The video might be up tomorrow. It's the T20 at a better price.
Anyone else with issues with the display?? Mine after 3 months (ok continous in charging, kinda once in a month use only, i know know, since I have robo vacuum as well). But the oled/led does not work now, just remains black screen, but different modes can be selected, applied for swap need to wait now....
Hmm, sounds like a connector/cable issue or simply a failed display. I hope it won't happen to mine.

The video shows some pieces getting away, and a lot more pieces getting inside. It's a matter of which brush you use and how you operate it.
