I love this rendition so much more than the latter trumpet one that comes in after you progress in the region. I really missed this after it changed, never to be heard again through the entire game...
I hear ya man, its like yeah this is basically just the same one we got in remake, and I almost wish they didnt use in there, but I really dont get why they changed the instruments so much in the second version in the grasslands, this one just sounds so... like you would imagine a modern version of the song sounding, I hope they bring it back more in part 3 at some point cus this being the only time we really hear the MAIN theme is wild to me, I know its in cosmo too but that version is kinda ehh
@@gabrielnovais871 I kinda doubt that, idk where exactly they would play that depressing world theme at but most of the regions will probably still have their own song, if anything that post meteor track might just be the mideel track, something eerie to couple in with what cloud is going through
I would love it if somebody did a mix of the grasslands overworld theme, alongside thew Nibel Region's overworld theme since both are the main theme but halved.

I think this main theme (The Cloud's theme) actually comes in 2 parts: the 1st one we are hearing it now, and 2nd part is the one we listen in Nibel area. Both are exceptional and really being a benchmark of a game main theme. Thank you for uploading this!
U right. I am currently on progress to upload the Nibel theme and combine both this one and nibel. It's been on my request list but I havent got the chance to revisit the game
I also love that they split it up. It’s nice to get just the hopeful portion of his theme without the dread. But man, that second part is what makes this one of the greatest themes ever.

@@gimaniav probably early next year on pc (if it doesnt become epic exclusive) if it does than like sometime 2026. Square did state they are now avoiding epic exclusivities. But again this game is on unreal engine so epic will try some bs.
I honestly hate what they've done narratively with remake and rebirth..but this game looks beautiful. And the main theme rendition is right up there. this game looks as good as it looked in my mind in 97.
I actually think it looks horrible. The textures look low res the world ingame is empty and a lot of same areas ,and they its build with a lot of invisble walls where you can't jump which can make exoploration very furstrating
