@@KelseyKonishi True enough.
@@KelseyKonishiI will add, for the record, I felt safer on the Disney Wonder, than I ever had on an airplane. Not that I don’t feel safe on airplanes, but there was something about the ship that just made me feel so safe.
btw Natalie the cruise director made it that much more comforting after the alarm sounded
Natalie was great throughout the cruise! I can still hear her voice "it is B-E-A-Utiful Day here in Puerto Vallarta"
First part was a general alarm, 7 short beeps, 1 long beep.
0:18 7 short blast
1 long blast
Damn, the towel folding class got cancelled.
Thankfully on the last cruise that sailed (west bound Panama Canal) our stateroom host came in our room and gave the kids a private towel folding lesson! I posted that video as well, check out my channel!
What ship was that, the Wonder
This happened to me on the Disney magic cruise...except the siren was different and it was really stormy out (cuz we were passing thru the Bermuda Triangle)
Cosmos _** how eerie
When alarm goes of made Disney mode to Survival mode
towel folding class? never heard of that but it sounds fun
It’s cool to learn how to make all the cute animals we see when our stateroom host does turndown service in our room. On the last cruise that sailed, West Bound Panama Canal, I was on that one too and our stateroom host gave us a private in room lesson. I videoed that as well and posted it on my channel. Be sure to subscribe, more videos to come from that cruise!
Once I was on a Holland cruise, and I was in the stateroom with my mom getting ready to go to meet up with the rest of my family and the alarm went off, i know you are supposed to keep calm but I immediately started to panic and crying I kept saying “we’re gonna die, we’re gonna die,” my mom told me to stay calm and they a couple seconds later they said it was a false alarm and the crew members had to practice a drill the next day when everyone on board was at the destination stop for the day, even though it was a false alarm, it was still kinda scary
Captain just wanted to shit everybody up for fun 😂
The captain on that cruise ship falsely sounded the alarm 😂
Aww a baby is having fun ❤
I was on the Pacific Adventure In may and there was a fire at 3 am and heard the emergency alarm was the scariest experience of my life
That is probably the most ill sounding alarm on the face of the earth
Alarm goes off
Let's get in the elevator
O______O
Like the alarm what ship is this it has a nice atrium
Connor W the Disney Wonder ship
O ok I never really like the Disney theme but I love the Design of the ship
Imagine the alarm goes off and all the staff come to the side of the ship and all of a sudden you see Elsa with her hair in a mess, covered in black ash, torn dress and she is rowing in a stole lifeboat away from the ship
She cant steal a lifeboat.
What is that alarm??!!! It's way more scary knowing its a cruise made for children and everyone's entertainment, I'd've never seen that coming from a Disney floating themepark
A "towel folding class" would trigger a real alarm for me!
Lol it's fun for the kids mostly
What caused the false alarm pls tell 🤔🤔
I’ve been on so many Disney cruises before I’m going on the next one over next Easter break thanks 😊
I love how calm cool and collected the lady filming was. I bet she works in emergency services.
I actually work in an elementary school, screaming kids everyday lol
@@KelseyKonishi plenty of fire drills too I'm sure 😂🤙
@@KelseyKonishi thanks for all the selfless work you do for those kiddos!! 💕
Thank you! I love working with kids!
@@summit7051 wrong it was a false alarm and not a single crew member was asking or directing people to muster. The captain or somebody from the bridge will tell you to muster (or any other directions remember an emergency alarm is going off your station could be on fire) over the PA system, the alarm just gets people's attention and wake them up.
For F's sake people, at the sound of an alarm, DO NOT use the elevators!
What happened on disney cruise?
Disney WONDER!
Did the elevator recall?
No
$2000 spent on towel-folding class? Do Disney cruises also offer classes on how to clean toilets, vacuum hallways, and empty waste-bins?
I was on a cruise ship one night asleep then my mum woke me up at 10 pm because the alarm was going off and it was untill the next day we found out that someone was smoking in thier room
To be honest I always had a dream of going on a Disney Cruise but the only thing that holds me back due to ADD and OCD I'm very sensitive to loud noises and I heard a few videos of people video taping the alarms and I know it's a trigger. What do they do for someone who is sensitive to loud noises does Disney understand that ? please answer
Samantha the cruise didn’t do anything specific for helping people who are sensitive to loud sounds. The point of the alarm is to get everyone’s attention, and it worked. I wouldn’t let the possibility of this happening prevent me from booking a cruise if I were sensitive to loud alarms. It is not a common occurrence. If you think about it, and alarm can happen anywhere, anytime. Keep on living!
I'm an extremely sensitive guy too due to my condition, and makes me feel impotent how the crew thinks this is for "everyone" while there are ppl like us who are fighting our whole lifes to resist this kind of situations and sounds that are considered "normal" for neuro typical fellas
That Alarm could be the Muster Drill Alarm
i wouldve died. too loud
Was it a false alarm bc I watched another video that had the same thing happened
