    If you need to learn crochet basics I highly suggest looking on UA-cam as there are some fantastic, short and concise videos on here :)
    I have a PDF version of the pattern available on my Ko-Fi ~ Tashs Crochet
    Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @ Tashs_crochet
    Feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly if you need help! I can't wait to see what you make.
    Just to reiterate, I don't own the character, this is simply a form of fanart for those who love Pokémon.
    Thank you ♡
    I forgot to add how to do the two brown stripes on the back of the Pikachu! If you want to add them you can find the information in the PDF ~ sorry!

    A trick to make a maklgic ring with this yarn is to make a loop with similar colored thread, crochet the yarn around it, pull the thread to close the ring and tie it.

    I made this twice, and the second time I accidentally skipped rows 19-22 in the body which made it come out a lot smaller, but I think it enhanced the cuteness factor 🎉😍

    • @TashsCrochet
      @TashsCrochet  5 місяців тому +9

      Honestly it really just takes some practice. I am the same with fluffy yarn. If you really want to give it a go you can place a stitch marker in every stitch so you know 100% where they all are.
      But I’d recommend starting with acrylic yarn because it’s a lot easier to see the stitches - it’ll still come out super cute! ☺️

  • @zombbae

    Dec is 2 stitches are places in one spot yes? Nvm I think I saw you do it, you sc- then yarn over again and pull through, so instead of two sc in one stitch it yarn over then yarn over (twice) then pull through and continue?
    And thank you for this tutorial it really helped me visualize patterns and how they come together. I’m getting so excited because I’m finally getting it. I haven’t been this excited for anything in a while lol. Eek!

    • @TashsCrochet
      @TashsCrochet  4 місяці тому

      Hey! So when you’re decreasing you are turning 2 stitches into 1 - by pulling through two hoops and then yarn over and through both of them. It’s always much harder to explain through text but if you need extra visuals there’s plenty of tutorials online 😊 and I’m so glad you’re enjoying it! I love crochet because it’s truly magical being able to create whatever you want with just a hook and yarn!

    Do you have a video of you doing the magic ring using a chain? I have a plush yarn that breaks on me everytime I try and do it the other way, but I can't seem to find a video that shows how to do it.

    • @TashsCrochet
      @TashsCrochet  4 місяці тому

      Hmm yarn that breaks can be very fussy! Try doing 2 chain and then putting all your sc into that first stitch in the chain. Try searching up slip ring tutorials. There’s a few out there but can be quite difficult to understand visually - even for me!
      I’ll definitely be making shorts tutorials for quick things like this to help beginners out since lots of tutorials are still quite difficult for people to understand

      am i understanding the process correctly? is it one single crochet into the first stitch of round 17 and then two stitches into the 2nd of 17 and then one into the third and so on? because if i do that i only end up halfway done (ending at stitch 14 of round 17 when complete with round 18)
