@@thatairplaneguy the Yak 55 has always been my favorite plane in terms of looks. I just have never flown one that flew any good. I wish somebody would make one that did fly good.
-- Damn, looks wow, I would never tell it was crazy maiden! At the beginning of the video, from far away it reminded me Aeroworks colors you used to fly... Music choice is good too, kinda reminds me Huey Lewis... I like your move at ~ 1:40, I see what you did there, hehe... The loop at 2:50 on the DOD with swooshie tail drag Harrier landing looked amazing... Congrads on maiden, and thank you!
-- I wonder how do you trim/calibrate your airplane while doing Rifle Rolls and RH Cuban figure 8-ts on your maiden flight? It reminds me 3D printer doing Z Offset test(like my grand M'ah Zinger sewing machine) before bed leveling, before printing... Its a amazing, graceful, not a full bore all the time... its so refreshing! I'm watching it again and again...
-- I just woke up, watched a few times, damn that Yak's tail have a lots of authority and "shh-weening" that airplane around like nothing... Joe, what are your thoughts on this airplane?
Yeah, I've been getting rid of a few planes to make room for more 104" Edges and other new stuff. haha Looks like I'm going to have to wait until next summer to get the EF 120" Extra 260, really looking forward to that one!
May the Yak never died. I’d like to see 55 and 55SP make a comeback

BTW, doing "donuts" on the ground before flight as a "warm" up or after landing is one of my favorite things on a larger airplanes...
A gentle giant. Nicely done
