Shudder, and everything after has had a different sound tho. You can't tell me that this sounds anything like their self titled album, or even The walking wounded. ): Do you even Long Stories Short?
by "sound" i mean they've always had a specific kind of writing style, guitar tone, melodies etc. but with every album it gets a little more refined and different without completely disregarding past generations. they innovate without sacrificing everything to sound different.
Lol this band. So fucking consistent. I love the shit out of all their material. Nothing is bad... It's one of those bands you can just listen to everything and nothing bad.
i love it when bands rhyme words with words that don't rhyme look at "not that i think you care but i don't feel right being here" care and here don't rhyme, but they pronounce here like hair but make it obvious that the word is here. adding another layer to the song
This song is absolutely beautiful. Bayside is that rare band that puts out records that are superior to their prior ones. The lyrics and music are both totally on point. And they consistently stay true to their established sound, but get more deep and unique at the same time.
i fuckin love the new album! i dunnk how the hell they can have all these albums n still havent sold out . they make real music with feeling and its absolutely priceless!
bayside you truly are a great band I love how your music has deep meaning I love it because I can tell you 9/10 times I can relate to your music although you have your meaning I have mines THANK YOU for your music
Like, specifically the guitar in this reminds me of This Is How I Disappear, and there's that one snare riff that sounds like something akin to Welcome To The Black Parade. I need more of that good stuff in my library, especially since we won't be getting any more from the progenitors themselves.
Anyone else remember the lyrics being "I'm not gonna make it after all" ?? rather than "Don't think I'll make it after all" . I feel madela'd right now
im new to bayside but i love this album and have heard it 1000 times approximately. i wanna listen to the rest of their stuff should i start at the beginning or go backwards or any reccomendation on next album i should get??
Like the sound of the new album. "Pretty Vacant" sounds really nice too, I like this one a little more. Probably because is more energetic. Keep it out you guys, greetings from Uruguay.
great song, wished it was a little more heavier, but this album is suppose to be different than anything they've done, so just gonna have to wait and see
It's about how Anthony moved down south with his wife and kid and they got divorced and now he's stuck there "behind enemy lines" because he's from New York
+Ethan McKenzie thank you for your kind answer. i always think, in english lyrics, used too many metapho, so it is hard to under stand. have a good day
+Timothy Rankin yes i think yor're right. i can feel their passion. i think except bayside, there is hundred of band that use tons of metapho, like fall out boy, panic at the disco, and other metalcoreband or post hardcore band. but i listen a lot this kind music,i love it cause i can feel thr paasion from their guitar sound, and structure of composing method. so even i don't about what lyric means, i can feel what they want to say. have a good day dude.
Honestly the beginning of the song is probably the most interesting part for me. The rest sounds like it could just be a b side to cult. I'm hoping for better songs from the rest of the album because this one didn't quite hit home for me and I know they can do better.
teen14 Don't get me wrong. I still like the song and I don't think it's a bad song by any means. It just didn't blow my mind like I was hoping for. I love Bayside and I have Vacancy on pre order!
i know where you come from, i felt the same about pigsty last album, and mona lisa the one before. thankfully they grew on me, but i'm actually digging this one a lot.
it blows me away how this band gets better with every release yet stays true to their established sound.
+Zakk Day it really is remarkable.
Shudder, and everything after has had a different sound tho.

by "sound" i mean they've always had a specific kind of writing style, guitar tone, melodies etc. but with every album it gets a little more refined and different without completely disregarding past generations. they innovate without sacrificing everything to sound different.
Silverstein is another band that is extremely good at changing, but still keeping their sound. Each album is similar but different
The old sound was put to rest with the acoustic album.
I love when Bayside gets a little punkier than usual.
Ikr
yesssss
they sound the same but make it new each time
Jack O Shea is one of my favorite guitarists, and this song seriously adds to that. Fuck yes.
Got to admit there is some solid riffing in this song
Hahha yeah definitely! Some of his solos and lead stuff are pretty ridiculous
What I love even more is how Anthony and Jack play together. It's perfect chemistry. The layering is beyond amazing.
I love this so much. They have the unique ability to move forward stylistically but still "sound like Bayside"
Lol this band. So fucking consistent. I love the shit out of all their material. Nothing is bad... It's one of those bands you can just listen to everything and nothing bad.

That trademark Bayside melody always gets me... Damn.
The tone is just huge. I love it. It's almost orchestral with the layered guitar arrangements.
This song sounds a lot like Already Gone and Tortures of the Damned. Can't wait for the new album!
Thank you. Bayside always comes to the rescue.
Sweeeeeet hard to believe how good they still are! harder to believe devotion & desire came out 12 years ago bummer I'm getting old af
This song is absolutely beautiful. Bayside is that rare band that puts out records that are superior to their prior ones. The lyrics and music are both totally on point. And they consistently stay true to their established sound, but get more deep and unique at the same time.
I'm so stoked for my favorite bands new album and to see them again in Denver!
You guys always blow me away
I've died and gone to heaven, because this is just too good!! x
I really like this new song! The band has obviously matured and this song shows. Still have their signature sound and are still moving forward.
Wow! They just keep taking it to the next level with every new album. I can't wait for this one to come, anyone know a release date yet?
this band is so awesome
Awesome! Cant wait to hear the rest.
album of the year.
i fuckin love the new album! i dunnk how the hell they can have all these albums n still havent sold out . they make real music with feeling and its absolutely priceless!
I'm so fucking pumped for this album!!
Damn Bayside!!!! You still got it! Stoked for the new record!!
bayside you truly are a great band I love how your music has deep meaning I love it because I can tell you 9/10 times I can relate to your music although you have your meaning I have mines THANK YOU for your music
This just makes me so excited for the new album! Great job guys!!
yes! no album has been the same. no band ever keeps the same sound and progresses the way Bayside does.
Exactly! They're such a talented and unique band!
YESSSSS! AMAZING! Can't freakin wait for the rest of the album! 😊❤
Super rad! Can't wait for the album!
beginning is amazing
I love the orchestration of MCR meeting the enunciation and singing style of TOP. Definitely a good hang for me.
Like, specifically the guitar in this reminds me of This Is How I Disappear, and there's that one snare riff that sounds like something akin to Welcome To The Black Parade. I need more of that good stuff in my library, especially since we won't be getting any more from the progenitors themselves.
Dear god yes
So much angst and emotion. You can feel how angry Anthony is about the situation he's writing about. So raw.
My goodness, I LOVE THIS. Totally jamming.
this song is amazing I can't wait for Vacancy I'm also seeing them in August can't wait for both
Love this!
so much emotion
Anyone else remember the lyrics being "I'm not gonna make it after all" ?? rather than "Don't think I'll make it after all" . I feel madela'd right now
Yet again, even better...
im new to bayside but i love this album and have heard it 1000 times approximately. i wanna listen to the rest of their stuff should i start at the beginning or go backwards or any reccomendation on next album i should get??
killing time is my favorite album! I suggest you start there. its a lot like this one
you can honestly start anywhere with them, they haven't put anything bad out. ever.
Pure greatness.
Anthony's vocals 👍👍
Like the sound of the new album. "Pretty Vacant" sounds really nice too, I like this one a little more. Probably because is more energetic. Keep it out you guys, greetings from Uruguay.
Beautiful
SO GOOD
I love this so much ❤️❤️❤️
When does this come out
Small motioncity soundtrack vibe
I love when I discover a new album when I thought the band is done making music XD XD XD
This is dope! :)
great song, wished it was a little more heavier, but this album is suppose to be different than anything they've done, so just gonna have to wait and see
You say youre happy but you look so sad!!
They better come back to the west coast soon.....
they announced tour dates a few weeks back. I know SF was on there.
Yeah I found them :D
best to date
perfect !
the chorus sounds like The Sharpest Lives by mcr
Amazing
Well said, Hicks
So, Killing Time was an amazing album huh? Yep. Great album. Kinda album that can't be topped. No one should even try. No one.
Weezer is a cult haha
If you like Bayside check us out! You'll dig it 😉
When Eyes Collide I would but you have no content on your channel
In conclusion, yes
I am the last of my kind...
Nice nice
Sounds like the killing time album
loveeee
Where's Jack Oshea's solo?
i hopw every one listens to the lead singer syndrome episode and leanrs what this album is about.
top!
i love bayside but this album needs a song that goes a little harder. sorry if rhat sounds ghetto
👌🏼👍🏼
I'd say killing time is bayside most popular album because of sick sick sick and already gone
BiteForce//PrinceOfRandom// u have to be high
The walking wounded
Drums remind me of the black parade XD
hallelujah its raining man~
#baysideisacult
sounds like a steven universe song awsome
i dont know what this lyric means.
It's about how Anthony moved down south with his wife and kid and they got divorced and now he's stuck there "behind enemy lines" because he's from New York
+Ethan McKenzie thank you for your kind answer. i always think, in english lyrics, used too many metapho, so it is hard to under stand. have a good day
+김상협 ...Bayside uses metaphors in all songs... so.. hard for you to understand.... but you can feel the passion correct?
+Timothy Rankin yel I believe we can all interoperate the metaphors to our personal feelings
Is it just me or this one sounds a lot like My Chemichal Romance?
Gtfffffffff
T
Honestly the beginning of the song is probably the most interesting part for me. The rest sounds like it could just be a b side to cult. I'm hoping for better songs from the rest of the album because this one didn't quite hit home for me and I know they can do better.
Whaaat? I personaly loved this song because I fing personal meaning to it I, well you do have your ouw opinion I can respect that.
+teen14 find*

teen14 Don't get me wrong. I still like the song and I don't think it's a bad song by any means. It just didn't blow my mind like I was hoping for. I love Bayside and I have Vacancy on pre order!

the verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus structure is becoming tiresome
Yikes. Really boring.
